"Ich war schon das 2. Mal im Alhabana. Wieder wurde mein Aufenthalt schon vorab gut vorbereitet. Der Transfer klappte, das Zimmer war diesmal die Grandesuite. Es war wunderbar. Das Schafzimmer schattig und der Balkon vom Wohnzimmer zur Straße raus. Wir fühlten uns eine Woche zu Hause. An der Rezeption wurden all unsere Fragen beantwortet, Geld getauscht und Tipps gegeben. Das Frühstück war lecker und wurde sehr persönlich zubereitet. Die Gegend Havanna Center ist für alle gut, die es nicht so touristisch mögen, sondern ursprünglicher. Das Restaurant Concordia in der Nähe ist ein Geheimtip. Wir kommen gerne wieder Jacqueline und Andreas G."

"Eine tolle individuelle Unterkunft mit insgesamt 4 Zimmern im 3. OG (kein Fahrstuhl) im Herzen der Altstadt. Ich habe es sehr genossen, insbesondere das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse mit Blick auf das Capitol. Sowohl die Managerin als auch das Personal waren äußerst engagiert und zuvorkommend, mir auch bei der Erweiterung meiner Spanischkenntnisse behilflich. Jederzeit wieder!"

Lovely room, nice location in the heart of Old Havanna and there was always a personal and warm welcome when we got home from an excursion around the city - at any time of the day or night. Really, the heart of Hostal Balcones are the people. Mariana, Henri, Ronaldo and the lovely ladies in the kitchen: thank you from the bottom of my heart to make us feel so welcome and to help us find our way around Cuba. Thank you for really nice conversations, for a wonderful breakfast and for welcoming us back after our four-day-trip to Trinidad just for the few hours we had before leaving to the airport.
