„From start to finish - excellent! Amazing location, very short walk into Chester centre (which is the most beautiful place and somewhere I will be returning to in summer). The property had a lovely feel, newly decorated and modern, clean, tidy andequipped with all you would need for a stay (towels, loo rolls, washing up equipment, iron, washing machine, comfy beds, hairdryer, good shower, easy heating system... such a cosy warm cottage). „This was a great base for a weekend break in Chester with friends. A really peaceful location that's in easy walking distance of the city centre. The property was very clean, tidy and equipped with everything we needed. Everyone appreciated the spacious bedrooms, comfy beds, towels, complimentary toiletries and hairdryer. All the important basics were also covered, including plenty of loo rolls, dish washing supplies, and milk/tea/coffee. The welcome prosecco and snacks were a lovely touch ...

„The property was a great base for a short stay in Chester for a family of 5. We were no more than 15 minutes from some of the notable local attractions and amenities. The house itself suited our needs and was in a quiet neighbourhood. The house and rooms were of ample size to accommodate 2 adults and 3 children (all under 13).“

„Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße, mit einer guten Anbindung per Bus in die Stadt. Zu Fuß braucht man 15- 20 Minuten. Aldi und Morrisons sind in wenigen Minuten fussläufig erreichbar. Das Haus war sauber und es fehlte an nichts. Der einzige Kritikpunkt den wir haben, ist das 4. Bett, dass unter der Dachschräge steht.“

„Lightfoot house is a lovely compact 1 bedroom property. Very well decorated and very clean. Thank you for supplying all of the essentials needed for our trip. The location was very good, a 20 minute stroll along the canal gets you into the city centre. The suburb of Hoole is a short walk away also, with a good selection of pubs and restaurants. Parking is a great bonus with the car park behind the property. All in all, a very enjoyable short stay. We would definitely use again when we return to ...

„The overall aspect of the property was misleading, the property wasn't of a standard that I would expect from a Vrbo property or any rental property, the cleanliness was far from acceptable, massive cobwebs in a few rooms, stains on carpets, rugs that we really a bad trip hazards, the one at the top of the stairs which we moved, sofa bed not fit for purpose, stains on bedding, dishwasher didn't clean properly, no welcome pack, lights in the small bedroom wasn't working, mold and grime build up ...

„The best thing about this property is it's location. Round the corner is the city wall, roman gardens and the river. 1 minute in the other direction and you're in the town centre. For the price, it was really good value for money, spacious, clean and has everything you will need. Nice and quiet, despite being close to the centre. The main negative for us, was the house is very, very cold even with the radiators on. This wouldn't be such a problem in the spring etc, we were there in the cold ...
