„Typisches englisches Pub-Hotel, rustikal auf schick renoviert. Ok, aber nicht top. Mankos wie in einigen englischen Hotels, schlecht funktionierende Heizung, trotz der üblichen dicken, ollen Teppiche und tausend Vorhängen kalt. Roch etwas muffig. Für ein, zwei Nächte ok. Beim Frühstück gab es allerdings schon eine vegan-vegetarische Variante, was nicht üblich ist bei den Mittelklasse-Hotels auf der Insel.“
