„We have had three pretty days at the Bassenthwaite Lake Side Lodge. Everything was successfully. We loved to sit outside on the terracce. It is such a quite, peacefull place. Two times we walked to the Pub "Sun in" in Bassenthwaite it is a halfe hour walk away.“

„We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together“

A modern interior and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals which for us was great for usWe had a small issue on arrival but the excellent host dealt with it promptly and communicated effectively We would recommend this accommodation “

„The property was lovely, and clean. A great location with good amenities. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor which was a bit tricky for us staying with young kids and not mentioned in the information, and the on street parking availability on the street mentioned nearby was really limited, but we travelled on a very busy school holiday weekend. We have stayed at lots of homes as an extended family group and this was great, with a good location. Only criticism would be that 9:30am is the ...

„Loved this cozy cottage in the perfect location Very clean on arrival & has 2 beautiful bedrooms with en suite which is an excellent bonus for sharing with friends or family .. showers were fantastic & lovely big bath too.. "Außenanlagen, äußeres Erscheinungsbild sehr gepflegt, sehr schönes, viktorianischesGebäude. Fenster nur minimal zu öffnen, Aussicht auf Mülltonnen, Badezimmer renovierungsbedürftig. Abendessen, 3- Gang- Menu akzeptabel, aber Preis- Leistungs - Verhältnis stimmt nicht. Die oben angeführten Kritikpunkte werden wahrscheinlich relativiert bei schönem Wetter durch die landschaftlich herrliche Umgebung und die damit verbundenen vielfältigen Freizeitmöglichkeiten Wir hatten bei unserem Aufenthalt im August leider das Pech wegen des extrem schlechten Wetters - ca 14 Grad, Regen und starkem Wind- praktisch nichts im Freien unternehmen zu können. "
