„Had a wonderful weekend away and this little gem is in the heart of the centre which is great. Very compact&quite small but very cute. Parked car opposite on paid carpark. Decor is beautiful,bit dark for applying make-up ladies and had trouble 1st day with no hot water but within 10mins it was sorted so all good. “

„I received a call 24 hours before our arrival (on New Years Eve),telling me the booking cancelled due to 'gas issues' in the apartment. I was told they would arrange for Expedia to search for alternative accomodation. I was ,however,scepital about this and proceeded to try and find accomodation myself,without success at such short notice. I then received another call after approx 1 hour,telling me now sorted but may be put in one of the hotel rooms rather than the apartment. . On arrival,the ...

„What can i say, everything was perfect. Upon entering the building using the very clear instructions and getting our key, to entering the room. Room 2 Coniston. It was absolutely spotless, very spacious with a nice homely feel to it. Kitchen area was really good, all the appliances and accessories we needed. Very comfy & large bed. Dog friendly room with a dog bed, bowl, treats and towel. Booked again for November Perfect location, you really are at the centre of the town. “

„We have had three pretty days at the Bassenthwaite Lake Side Lodge. Everything was successfully. We loved to sit outside on the terracce. It is such a quite, peacefull place. Two times we walked to the Pub "Sun in" in Bassenthwaite it is a halfe hour walk away.“

„Our stay here couldn’t have been better. The cottage is cozy, clean and in a quiet surrounding. We loved walking there, going to Keswick or the Lakes. Checkin was easy and uncomplicated, nothing to complain about! Would really love to visit the cottage again! Nathalie & Stefan“

"Außenanlagen, äußeres Erscheinungsbild sehr gepflegt, sehr schönes, viktorianischesGebäude. Fenster nur minimal zu öffnen, Aussicht auf Mülltonnen, Badezimmer renovierungsbedürftig. Abendessen, 3- Gang- Menu akzeptabel, aber Preis- Leistungs - Verhältnis stimmt nicht. Die oben angeführten Kritikpunkte werden wahrscheinlich relativiert bei schönem Wetter durch die landschaftlich herrliche Umgebung und die damit verbundenen vielfältigen Freizeitmöglichkeiten Wir hatten bei unserem Aufenthalt im August leider das Pech wegen des extrem schlechten Wetters - ca 14 Grad, Regen und starkem Wind- praktisch nichts im Freien unternehmen zu können. "
