„This was our second time at this property. This time we took our two boys. They loved it just as much as we did. The location is perfect for hiking during the day. And the house is perfect for enjoying each others' company in the evenings. The host has always been super helpful. My youngest son didnt want to leave and is making plans to return in the future.“

„Two couples for a few days in Davis and a great stay at a fantastic property! The space was perfect for the four of us. We cooked most meals in and the kitchen was well equipped. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck for cocktails and using the hot tub when the weather was cooler. The fireplace inside made for cozy movie watching nights. You can tell a lot of care has gone into this property and we appreciated staying there. Would highly recommend!!“

„The property is amazing. It is the perfect cabin for a small family. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful hiking trails. The inside was immaculate and stocked with everything we needed for the week. They even include a sofa cover if you are bringing your doggy. Perfect location for activities in Canaan, Davis, Thomas, Spruce Knob….Chip and Laurie respond to messages quickly. „Our family of four stayed in the cabin for a quick ski trip. The cabin is situated perfectly close to ski resorts as well as restaurants in Davis. The owner's directions were clear from booking to check out and the cabin was fully stocked with all of our needs. My kids loved the bunk beds. Will book again!“

„The property is very nice. It's apparent a lot of upgrades have been made and more to come. Heck, there's even tissues throughout the house which you don't find many places. The only pick I have is that steps leading down to the house were barely cleared of snow/ice and very difficult and dangerous to negotiate with suitcases. I shoveled them myself the next day.“

„The property was more than we were expecting, especially for the price! House got wverything you need from bed sheets to all the kitchen supplies. Nice quiet area, walkable distamce to local shops and restaurants. Black Water Falls and nice hiking trails are 10 minutes away. 2 Ski resorts are 15 minites from the house - perfect location. House is a little older, but in a good condition and very clean! You can see that proertt has been taken care of! Overall great stay! Highly recommend! “

„Private location, nice view out the back deck and porch. Beds were comfortable, linens were clean, plenty of towels. Served the purpose for us after reservations elsewhere were cancelled last minute due to a water issue. Some things are a bit dated and in need of repair, but overall good and homey. Very convenient to Timberline. Maybe goes without saying in the area, but if going during the winter with the snow, make sure you have a 4x4 to get up the road and driveway. “
