Property advertised for up to 10, but would think it could be a bit of a squeeze unless several of party were small children. There were 6 of us and it was perfect size“

„Location was excellent - great view of the main high street from the lounge window. Comfortable apartment within easy walking distance of the lido, great pubs and cafes, Little John's grave etc! Main bed had integrated TV in footboard - great feature as long as you're shorter than 6 foot 4"! “

„Newly decorated apartment. But very small, no room around bed. Hot water ran out every morning after 1 shower. Also there is NO parking permit.“

„Das Appartment ist sehr geräumig und bietet mit der voll ausgestatteten Küche die perfekte Basis um zur Erkundung der Gegend aufzubrechen. Alles war sehr gepflegt und sauber. Der Außenbereich ist fantastisch und hat den typisch britischen Cottage-Flair. Wir haben uns bei der Anreise leider etwas verirrt weshalb wir deutlich später als besprochen eintrafen. Der Vermieter war sehr verständnisvoll und hilfsbereit. Eine absolut empfehlenswerte Location.“

„Perfect location for walking, as on bus route to beauty spots from which you can walk back. Brilliant to have plenty of parking and an exceptionally large apartment, recently refurbished, with all amenities. Only downside was staff made a lot of noise under my room until 1am. Otherwise ideal with reasonably priced food and open fires at the pub downstairs. “

„The weekend at Otterhole Barn in Buxton went by far too quickly. The flat offers plenty of space for a family of four and is very well maintained and equipped. The landlady was always approachable and helpful. We felt very comfortable here. The town centre is within walking distance and the natural beauty of the Peak District is practically on the doorstep. Really great. We would love to come back here.“

„Would highly recommend. Fantastic studio with everything you need. The owner was brilliant and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay. By far the best place we’ve stayed which was down to the owner. “

„Comfortable place and cozy however we felt it was a little tired and needed some TLC. There were a few maintenance issues and some equipment needs updating. Overall we enjoyed our stay.“

„The apartment had everything necessary, except a working elevator. As we were on an extended tour, we had three suitcases which had to be carried up many, many flights of stairs. We tried to fit a key into a lock on a door which we later learned was a "decorative", non-working knob. The decor was lovely, the location was ideal, and I am sure if we were hikers, this apartment would have been a fine fit, but not for old people or people with heavy luggage.“

„I booked this break for a 2 day break having seen the property on line and picked it out as somewhere I wanted to stay. Everything was exactly as per the photos. Really high quality, lovely and clean, excellent location, very well presented, and quiet. Great for a couples break and so convenient for shopping, walking or just sitting in the local park and watching the world go by. Plenty of places to eat nearby, would thoroughly recommend!“

"In meinem Zimmer war ein neues Bad, aber der Rest des Hotel war doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Was an sich nicht schlimm ist, wenn es dann sauber und gepflegt ist. In meinem Flur roch es sehr unangenehm. Das Frühstück war ok aber nicht jetzt keine tolle Qualität oder besonders lecker. Eine Kollegin hatte ein altes Bad und Schimmel in diesem. Auf die freundliche Frage, ob sie ein anderes bekommen könnte wurde recht unfreundlich geantwortet, dass es nicht möglich ist. Sehr schade, da das Haus an sich wirklich schön ist. "

"Frühstück nur von 8 bis 10. Sehr dunkler Flur um in sein Zimmer zu kommen. Es war an dem Wochenende eine Hochzeit im Hotel, was uns vorher nicht mitgeteilt wurde, daher die ganze Nacht sehr laut. Plus ein Fehlfeueralarm in der Nacht. Es gab dazu keine Entschuldigung von der Rezeption und daher kann ich insgesamt dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen."
