„Vorab, es war sauber. Jedoch kein Zimmerservice. WLAN kostet extra7€. Ebenso die angegebene Sauna und der Parkplatz. Die Fenster sind einfach verglast und beim Frühstück laufen zwei Durchlauf Toaster. Das tut schon fast weh was die Umwelt angeht. Die Einrichtung ist brauchbar jedoch nicht hochwertig.“

„Classy Hotel in an 18th Century Georgian architectural landmark which was saved by the Hotel Company. Went there first on a rushed business trip and went back half a year later to enjoy it finally with my partner. The pool is warm and not exactly for a sporty swimmer, but is nice with the opportunity to swim outdoors. Beds and Breakfast are excellent and up to the price. After finding the south of England more and more crowded, the Peak District is an area I was happy to discover.“

„Hotel was located in a good location, easy access to public parking (250m distance). Room was good, however the toilet was quite small. Overall, we had a good comfortable stay.“

„We choose this hotel so we could use and enjoy the spa facilities, unfortunately the thermal spa was out of use and we wasn’t informed of this at check in, which was very disappointing. Otherwise the hotel was a great location, staff were all friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again if the spa was fully available. “

„I booked in advance and paid 40 for a room with ensuite facilities. It was a good size, with tv microwave, coffee/ tea . Normally they charge 100 for this. . I was satisfied with the price i paid for what i got.“

„Das Zimmer war eng und spartanisch. Das Bad dazu ebenso. Für eine Nacht jedoch ausreichend. Das Parkhaus hat einen direkten Zugang zum Hotel was sehr praktisch ist. Bar und Restaurant im Loft Style,wenn gut besucht,sehr laut. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, ebenso das Personal. “

„Good hotel next to the station and in walking distance to the city center. Staff was very good and helpful. My bathroom was not very clean on arrival but after having spoken about it at reception they cleaned it superbly and i was given some vouchers as recompensation. Breakfast and food was delicious. I would stay again in this hotel.“

„Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig, hell und frisch renoviert. Das Bad war ebenfalls frisch renoviert und alles hat hervorragend funktioniert. Wir haben uns in dem Zimmer sehr wohl gefühlt.“

„This was my second stay at the Hampton Hotel and it was the same pleasure as the first: spacious and very clean rooms, excellent breakfast and a very helpful and friendly staff. Close to the city centre, it remains my first choice when coming to Sheffield.“

„Das Hotel müsste dringend überholt werden Badezimmer mit defekten Fliesen und schimmeligen Silikonfugen . Keine Klimatisierung möglich kein Kühlschrank oder Minibar im Zimmer. Keine Toilettenbürste vorhanden. Gesamtzustand des Hotels stark abgenutzt. Gardinen im Zimmer zerfetzt ( siehe Bilder)“

In meinem Flur roch es sehr unangenehm. Das Frühstück war ok aber nicht jetzt keine tolle Qualität oder besonders lecker. Eine Kollegin hatte ein altes Bad und Schimmel in diesem. „Not bad but could do with a clean. The pool was very nice but again a bit shabby. Room was OK but let down by bathroom being a bit shoddy. Grounds are lovely with ducks on the lake.“
