They house was well equipped. (Compliments to the owner), and the beds were very comfortable. All sheets and towels were pristine. We would LOVE to stay there again. Loved being able to walk to everything. Decor was lovely!
We both felt the housekeeping was fair. All the rugs had lots of sand underneath, the floors were not dusty, but when I mopped, they were very dirty. I believe that the housekeeping may vacuum what you SEE, but probably do not throughly mop the hardwood. I’m sure it was properly sanitized (for covid), because the baths and kitchen were very clean, but not floors. Also, the dishes/glasses/utensils were great etc, but I had to find pans and lids that matched, and then wash the pans before use. Very nice cookware, but again housekeeping needs to clean it between guests, (because some guests put things away dirty) and put it away more orderly. Owners pay for housekeeping...cost passed on to the renter.(we have rental property), and you expect housekeeping to have things clean for next guests. I’m fairly sure it was cleaner when we checked ou than when we arrived.
Overall, the place was beautiful and well taken care of by the owner in beauty, comfort, and decor.
We were very disappointed that the heated pool was not heated during our stay. We both like to swim even if the weather is cool, and felt the pool heaters should have been turned on. Someone said they turn them on March 1. I wish we had know that we might have picked a different property.
