Glenlivet Glamping in a Cosy Wooden Lodge - Dog Friendly
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, 3 reviews
"So easy to check in, cabin looks a lot bigger in person, it was a lovely stay. Nearby forest to walk the dog. I'd say the only downsides are no hotel usuals like tea, shampoo, hair dryer. Local shop and a few bars in the area but not much available if you arrive late. No WiFi either, we had signal thankfully but tourists may struggle."

Invercauld Lodges
4.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, 17 reviews
"We loved our stay in the Balmoral lodge. Excellent location, well equipped and comfortable. Only tiny thing I’d mention is that in the facilities there is ‘free toiletries’ listed, but it was only hand soap so we did have to nip to the local shop. So maybe just take that off the description as it may be misleading? We’d love to come back again soon, we had a fantastic time. Thank you! "

Cairngorm Bothies
3.5 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, 7 reviews
"We were meeting friends to go to the Highland games and there were little lodging available at a reasonable price. I was a little concerned about the bothies based on earlier reviews but we all loved it. One friend was very tall and in a bothies with lower ceilings so they offered a different one but they didn't mind. We all enjoyed the wood stoves, the environment, and the beds. Also the fridge and kitchenette. But, we soon learned that internet and cell connections are rare in most of...

Gardener's Cottage
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, 4 reviews
"The property is a little out of the village in a quiet location. The main house was not rented out whilst we were there. As we prefer a quiet location this was ideal for us. Great views from the bedroom windows. The downstairs views slightly blocked by a wall"
Gardener's Cottage
Contemporary Cottage in Ballater Village
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, 10 reviews
"Beautifully decorated property, warm and welcoming. Garden secure for dogs and beautifully maintained - the photos don’t do the garden justice and only shows one half of it. Everything was lovely and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Central location to the shops and local eateries, although not at all noisy, as even when busy, the town is generally quiet in the evenings. Mark the owner was very helpful and quickly responds to any messages left. Ballater is a great place to stay, with...

Cairn Leuchan,Glen Muick, Ballater
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, 27 reviews
"This cottage is so nice you won't want to leave the house. The layout is perfect and incredibly functional, and the style is pristine and tasteful. There is a laminated guidebook with info about the appliances, temp control, amenities, nearby hikes. Everything was in stock, everything worked. The skylights have blinds/shades and can be cracked open for air, and the lighting options inside are numerous. Sometimes you see houses that have been flipped with superficial touches yet they fail at...
