The bed is super comfortable, and the bathroom and kitchen have everything you need. We enjoyed doing a barbecue on the deck, waking up to the sounds of the ocean waves, and feeling like we were truly living the island life! „This is a cute cottage on Russell Island, just a few houses up from a shallow sandy beach great for kids and families. The home was nicely decorated, clean, the linens and bedding were fresh, kitchen stocked with some helpful cooking basics, the beach toys and kayak wonderful, as well as the hospitality from both the owner, Carole, and caretaker, Audrey. „NOT a resort. But, a wonderful location with beautiful views. Bring your own foodstuffs. Including salt and pepper…not going to find it here. WiFi was intermittent, power went off our first day here for three hours. Very close to Governor’s Harbour and GH airport.“

The first one has to do with the accuracy of online listing in terms of location, it seems it is by the beach or at least at a pretty close walking distance but it is not actually like that, the second issue, which is a major one, is the problem with electric power the island suffers. „Apart from the super nice interior, the full equipment of the house and all the amenities of the modern world (starlink, netflix, air condition), the reception by the house manager was very warm, all wishes like getting a rental car at short notice or early check in were fulfilled. The house was a home from home for us during our vacation. „We had a super time, despite the weather being a little chilly. House was comfortable with nice deck and great view and very quiet. Were games, chairs and snorkeling gear. Not much of a yard for kids to run around if you have them, though we did not see many yards available. Beaches we saw were stunning. Definitely need a car with 4 wheel drive and with decent clearance. Some of beaches are hard to get to. Recommend you stock up on groceries near airport in North before heading south. Do not ...

„We had a most wonderful week, spoiled by nice and super friendly staff. Food is delicious and goes for higher standards. The restaurant is situated beautifully at the seaside. The room at the terrace was neatly designed, the bathroom equipped with a big shower. Overall we can highly recommend this little jewel on Eleuthera Island. Thanks folks!!!“

"Das Hotel gehört zu den besten Hotels der Insel. Leider kann man Frühstück oder Abendessen nicht vorab buchen. Wir hätten es als angenehm empfunden, wenn man zwanglos an den Frühstückstisch hätte gehen können. Das Hotel liegt fußläufig vom Ort. Zum Strand gejt msn 10 Minuten. Der Pink Beach ist einer der schönsten Strände der Bahamas. Leider gibt es keine Toilettenanlagen in Strandnähe. Es ist traumhaft, am weißen/rosanen Strand zu liegen und den Wellen zu lauschen. Leider waren wir vor Beginn der Saison da. Somit war das Angebot an Ausflügen zu anderen Stränden oder zu Schnorchelgründen etwas eingeschänkt. Wir hätten uns auch gewünscht, wenn man täglich eine Flasche Wasser aufs Zimmer bekommen hätte. Bei Hotels dieser Preisklasse ist das eigentlich üblich."
