„Just what we needed. Such a beautiful place, especially in the fall. Kitchen was adequately stocked but we brought everything we needed. Cozy beds and plenty of warmth. The grounds are gorgeous and steeped in deep history that is explained on a print out in the cabin. We will be back!“

„We really enjoyed our stay at Highland Manor. We were a group of early-40s professionals from the DC area and New River Gorge was our "friends trip" this year. It was awesome! Highland Manor is located very conveniently in Oak Hill, which is surprisingly walkable - we loved how close the grocery store was when we realized we'd forgotten to bring some spices for chili. There's a pleasant rails-to-trails walking/cycling path very nearby which was great to get a little bit of exercise while away ...

„The house was cute, very clean and well appointed. The location was perfect. It was a quick drive into town and close to hiking trails. The hot tub was great after a long day of hiking. The property manager was in contact before my trip to provide all the check in details. I would definitely stay here again if I came back to the area. “

„Although about 5 minutes from Rt. 19, the location of the rental has a nice forest view from the deck with no neighbors in sight. The floor plan accommodated my group of five well and, upon arrival, the cabin was exceptionally clean- it even smell nice. If it is important to you, the outdoor are was every bit as nice as the cabin itself.“

„Very convenient to park and activities. I enjoyed biking the greenway in Oak Hill and walking to Cafe One Ten for dinner. Quiet, safe area away from tourists but close enough to get to all the hikes and rafting.“

„We found A's cottage to be comfortable, spotless, and conveniently located. It was very quiet during our long-weekend stay, even with the windows open at night! We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck after an amazing meal at Ample Pizza in Hico. Thanks for the attention to detail and customer service, we will be back!“
