„Whilst we only stayed one night after a family event in Chester the beds were confortable and we could see the possibilities of the venue as an excellent place for parties or events. Shame we didn't have more time to use the facilities such as the hot tub and dinning room table“

„das Apartment ist eines von 8 die in die Grundmauern einer alten Kirche gebaut worden sind, im Erdgeschoss gibt es ein Schlafzimmer mit Bad, im ersten Stock ein Schlafzimmer und ein separates Bad, und im zweiten Stock ist der Wohn-Küchenbereich, alles sehr sauber ! die Lage ist auch klasse , Restaurants und Pub in fußläufiger Entfernung, die Vorabkommunikation lief auch super ! Einziges klitzekleines Manko : in der Woche gibt es nur zwei Parkplätze“

„Paul was very helpful and always on the other end of the phone if needed. A beautiful place for a nice quiet getaway and there is plenty to do just a short drive away, would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to relax. 10/10“

„Had two families stay in the one house, its a great location, close to the train station and 10 mins walk to city center and all the restaurants and shopping you need.“

„Wir wurden mit einem Getränk, Kekse und Blumen herzlich willkommen geheißen. Ab der 1. Minute haben wir uns heimisch gefühlt. Tolle Gastgeber. Geschmackvolle Einrichtung, in der Küche alles was man braucht vorhanden. Eine herrliche Landschaft uns sehr nahe an Chester. Gerne werden wir bei uns nächsten Englandaufenthalt wieder in das Cottage kommen. Der Erholungswert ist unvergleichlich.“

„We where disappointed to say the least with the condition of the property and very disappointed with the fact it was a basement apartment ( which was never mentioned) on arrival we found it dirty and dark . We had to stand on a chair to open the blinds and stretch whilst on that chair to open the window to let the musty smell out. As part of my working life I have to conduct risk assessment,s with this in mind this is unacceptable We went out for a walk when we returned we wanted to shower ...

„Positives: -Good for a girls trip away. The bedroom set up was perfect with lots of single beds - ideal for groups. Three bathrooms is helpful too. - Good location as close to the city centre. - Great communication from host before and during our stay. Negatives: - No mirrors in bedrooms which was difficult for a group of girls getting ready. Very dim lighting too. - WiFi was very temperamental and hardly worked. - Floors are really creaky so you can hear when anyone walks about. - The house is ...

„A lovely private get away if you need to unwind and relax this is the place , cosy and warm , bed comfy and outdoor space amazing with hotub and garden area . My only compliant is lack of storage for own food but guess it is a sherpards hut , we will return it's just what we needed after a busy Christmas“

"Booked online very easily. Had to wait a long time to get the room as it wasn’t ready when we arrived (late afternoon!). Staff friendly, decent menu and food available. We desperately needed toothbrush and paste but the hotel was sold out. Bed was comfortable and decent bathroom although quite old. Overall a decent place to stay and reasonable price. "

"ausstattung etwas in die jahre gekommen und etwas muffig. düsterer frühstücksraum. staff und lage sehr gut. frühstück dürftig mit sehr beschränkter auswahl. zudem muss im voraus ein slot reserviert werden. mein deluxe zimmer mit kanalblick und balkon war sehr geräumig, allerdings viel zu warm."
