„Just what we were looking for. On the water with good boat dock and lodging. “

„Love the place! Just what we needed. We would stay again. Easy check in. Place was clean. We sat on the back porch a lot and watched the ducks and just a few boats going by. Thanks for letting us stay. Hope to do it again soon! “

„It was very clean and nice apartment overall. Everything was ready and looking good. Comfy bed and 2 tvs each room in the bedroom and living room. Bathroom was clean and nice too. Only one thing I didn't like was soundproof. It was usually not noisy the whole time but at night if some people talk loud you can hear it. that was only one part that I didn't like but overall it is a great apartment.“

„Nice I wasn't their much. I was helping my Father-in-law repair from the hurrcaine. The place was nice the driveway was a challange but it worked.“

„We had the entire top floor of a beautiful lakeside home! Easy access to Columbia and to Congaree National Park. Kayaking was also available.“

„We rent a place on Lake Murray every 4th of July. I have to say this is the worse experience we’ve ever had. The kitchen is infested with ants. Ants were all over the counter and got in all our chips and boxes of cereal. There were also ants in the twin size bed downstairs, both showers, and the bathroom vanities. The refrigerator did not work. When we woke up the first morning all our food was warm. We had to get coolers and ice to keep our food cold. The ice maker doesn’t work either. We left ...

„My family and I had a wonderful 5 days at this property. There were plenty of comfortable bedrooms to accommodate our whole group with room to spare. Very pleased with the amount of bath towels and beach towels provided along with the many toys for the lake. Our host was very accommodating and we all appreciated that. If we are ever back in the area again, we will certainly book again!“

„Annual trip to a dynamic college football scene. Gamecocks rated as one of the top tailgates in the country. Three guys stayed at the Turquoise Door in Lexington and it was perfect for our needs and access to Columbia. Would totally recommend this property to anyone for pretty much any VRBO need! “

„Planned for a family gathering. Due to weather most people canceled. The owner was wonderful working with us. We will definitely try to reschedule to have our gatherings there. Thank you. “

„Scenery was gorgeous! Incredibly tranquil! I loved the screened porch and dock. I would love to come again. There seems to be an issue with the electrical system, as the outlets spark when plugging anything in. “

„I brought a small youth group for a weekend retreat. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed all of the amenities offered at the house. The hosts were very accommodating and quick to respond to any needs. We will definitely consider returning in the future.“

„The Quack Shack is located at a very peaceful part of Lake Murray. We had our own Kayaks and kayaking was great. Our Sheltie loved the fenced in yard and we had a nice visit with the neighbors. Every kind of need was available if we needed it. Great location, great relaxing stay.“

„Property is in a nice quite location. For it to have been a summer weekend with nice weather the boat/ lake traffic was lite . The property listing isn’t intentionally misleading but there things you don’t see in the description and pictures. It is a lake house and has an old lake house feel. The furniture is old and worn and needs to be replaced. The kitchen is well appointed but the dishes all had to be washed as the former occupants probably only wiped them down. Tips and tears in ...

„We had 4 families that had kiddos playing in an All State Baseball tournament form NC. We wanted something that we could all enjoy together while. It being at the fields. Perfect place to hang out and let the kids hang. Even though it was freezing they all jumped in the pool. We loved the history and lived in feel art this home. “

„The house met all of my expectations. Location was outstanding and he you were easily able to dock a pontoon boat. The pool and lake were outstanding. Beautiful house and would highly recommend for anybody looking to rent out a large lake house. The recreation room was amazing and kept us very entertained at night.“
