„Very clean and cozy. The outside temps were never warmer than 25 F but the inside was always warm and comfy. We could stream on the wifi, and we also had cell service. The owner was responsive to any questions. GPS took us right where we needed to be, and it was dark.“

„Good heating and snow removal! It probably snowed about 10 inches and we were able to still go snow tubing and return.“

„Although about 5 minutes from Rt. 19, the location of the rental has a nice forest view from the deck with no neighbors in sight. The floor plan accommodated my group of five well and, upon arrival, the cabin was exceptionally clean- it even smell nice. If it is important to you, the outdoor are was every bit as nice as the cabin itself.“

„This canin and owners are awesome!!!! My daughter and I brought the dogs and stayed for the weekend. We never left the property. It was so peaceful. Will definately be returning!“

„Our 5 day stay in the Vandalia cabin was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I were looking for seclusion and relaxation for our Anniversary. Well we got exactly that during our stay. We couldn’t get enough of the views from the back porch or from the picturesque hicking trails. Pervis was a great host and was super responsive to any and all of our questions. We can not wait to go back to the wild and wonderful state of West Virgina and the Vandalia cabin. Till next time. “

„We had a wonderful time. We checked in Friday and we had dinner. It was really nice having the grill. After dinner it was nice to enjoy the pool and hot tub. We went boating at Summersville, so it made it a nice location to stay. We were close to all my favorite food locations. It is a very cute, comfy getaway home. Thank you again for having us.“

„This cabin was wonderful and the booking was easy. The host Billie was also excellent with communication. It is a slight challenge to get up the hill to the cabin but as long as you have 4 wheel or AWD you should be fine. My teens and I loved our stay and would definitely stay again.“

„Plenty of room to relax after hiking all day. Missed the driveway the first time, the property is tucked back in the woods. We saw deer two mornings by the stream outside. Nice place.“

„This house is directly across the road from the lodge and restaurant of Hawk’s Nest State Park. The backyard actually sits against state park lines and there are a few trails right across the road. The area has great views and being in a single family home was wonderful once we arrived with a spacious living room and dining room, board games and comfortably heated! The yard and land were also very spacious and great to walk around with the pups. Great host & will definitely recommend this place ...
