„Lovely cottage just minute from the beach. Ideal for families with small children. Clean,cozy and well equipped with everything you need. Host is friendly and resposive ensuring a smooth stay. It went beyond our expectation.“

„The host was exceptionally communicative prior to arrival giving very clear instructions on how to find their place. When we met them, they were very kind and considerate hosts offering additional help if it was needed. The setting is wonderful, quiet, serene, and offered a perfect night rest after a full day of motorcycling. Thank you for being great hosts on our 3 day motorcycling journey!“

„I’ll start this review by saying that we’ve stayed at plenty of cottages. This one was by FAR our favourite. The inside feels brand new (although the TV didn’t work for the duration of our stay but we didn’t mind we had so many activities) and the outside is a DREAM. Right on the most beautiful lake, with kayaks and a floating pad for swimming and relaxing. The property and the.lake house were so clean and well stocked. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. We will be coming back! “

„Our group included three young people (ages 18-22) and all of us were incredibly impressed with the lodging itself - a whole charming house - and especially with the location, near the lovely town of Antigonish and very near to a fantastic 4 km long beach (Pomquet Beach) with seals, fir trees, spectacular sunsets, etc. We went in January - not a time in Nova Scotia for the timid - and the house was warm and cozy and the host had the driveway plowed for us as soon as we asked. „The place is good, and we had a good time in the area. The place is not right on the beach--it is about a 200 meter walk through the woods. The house is pretty remote, which can be a good thing, but every place we wanted to visit is at least an hour drive away. We did a lot of driving and spent a lot on gas. We wish we had stayed in Baddeck.“

„We stayed for the long weekend with our adult children and their spouse (6 of us). Fisherman's Cottage was perfect for us. There was lots of room for everyone, and what a view!! The kitchen was well equipped and let us prepare a celebration meal. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub. What a treat!! We would visit again.“

„We checked in Friday afternoon went out Saturday morning got back Saturday night to find out there was no water the pump went in the well I called the owner Sunday morning and told him about it he apologized many times he also refunded half my money back within a few minutes the care taker had a couple of big jugs of water for me so I was able to stay until Monday morning it’s a nice place and if i had to rate the owner I would give him a 10 out of 10“

Saubere und günstige Unterkunft

"Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet (Fernseher, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine...). Man konnte am Vorabend ein sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück auswählen und zur gewünschten Zeit an der Rezeption abholen. Der Check In war im Internet möglich. Man bekam einen Zugangscode zugesendet."
