„We have traveled mmmmmany place. This property has taken our rating of the #1 spot!! Perhaps it’s just our taste, but the exquisite view overlooking the village and at the foot of the volcano or breathtaking. The serenity on that mountain is unequaled. I highly recommend it because it is an experience not just a place.“

„Das Ferienhaus entsprach exakt den der Beschreibung. Nur die geografischen Angaben zur Lage pass(t)en nicht. Dies ist aber ein Problem von Fewo-Direkt und kein Fehler des Vermieters. Laut Karte von Fewo-Direkt ist sie am Stadtrand. In Wirklichkeit aber eher 10 Minuten Autofahrt von La Fortuna entfernt. Wer morgens zu Fuß in ein Café oder abends in eine Bar möchte, hat schlechte Karten. Vom ersten Kontakt bei der Buchung bis zur Abreise: der Vermieter war jederzeit erreichbar und stand auch für ...

„Leider befinden sich 2 der 3 Schlafzimmer und eines der beiden Bäder in einem großen Raum, der nach oben hin offen ist. Daher ist eine Privatsphäre in diesen Räumen leider nicht möglich. Sonst super mit einer tollen und sehr feundlichen betreuung direkt aus dem Nachbarhaus.“

„The property was very clean and safe. We particularly enjoyed the covered patio/pool area. Howler monkeys woke us up the second day and put on quite a show in the trees across the small road from the house. Loved the ever present hummingbirds in the flowering plants. Lots of different flowering plants. The only things I would recommend for improvements : hot water for the kitchen sink and improved lighting in the kitchen. „We stayed 3 nights at Cabañas Litos in February (couple). Everything was so perfect! At distance walk from restaurants, everything was clean and well maintained. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed to cook so we saved money to do all activities around. I strongly recommend!“

„We loved staying in this home . It was a perfect location to get to all of our activities, close to restaurants. The pool was wonderful and the kitchen gave us the option to cook a nice breakfast a couple of mornings. The only suggestion I have is that the steps going into the pool were a little slippery and one of our friends actually slipped going into the pool. It might be great to add a hand rail. Overall, we absolutely loved our time in Costa Rica!“

„This was the best house I stayed at in my entire life. It is huge in pristine condition clean. Surrounded by tropical Paradise. I will remember this home for the rest of my life. I want to go back and live in Costa Rica permanently lol. I didn’t want to leave. The family is amazing and treated me like one of them. They took me out and let me see all the frogs and wildlife and help me explore. They are absolutely amazing and I wish they were my real family.“

„Staying here is kind of like having your own nature preserve. Short trails, lots of birds (including the eponymous toucans)…Hosts were great, helped with booking adventures and moved us into another unit when there was a power outage. Place is small, our family of four was a bit cramped, but there’s lots of nice outdoor space. Would stay again…“

"Nous avons passé deux belles nuits dans cet hôtel bien placé pour visiter la zone de la Fortune. La chambre avec vue sur la forêt et sur le volcan était bien confortable, propre et spacieuse. Le personnel disponible nous a bien accueilli et renseigné. Le restaurant propose un assez bon petit-déjeuner et des bons repas. Je le conseille ! "

"Sauber und komfortabel. Die Hoteleigenen hot springs haben uns an einem Regentag gut getan. Das Personal war sehr nett und hat immer kompetent auf unsere Anfragen reagiert. Leider hörte man nachts ein permanentes Lüftungsgeräusch, das war der einzige Wehmutstropfen. "

"Hotel und Anlage schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, jedoch große Zimmer (gutes Bett, TV und schnellem Internet) mit großem Bad. Das Thermalbad ist schon recht abgerockt - der neuere VIP Bereich macht des dann etwas besser."

"Wir sind schon das zweite Mal da und kommen gerne wieder! Das Essen ist fantastisch, alle Mitabeitenden sehr freundlich, das Zimmer toll mit eigenem kleinen Vulkanbecken. Die Thermen laden zum Relaxen ein und der grosse Pool ist herrlich!"
