„Clean and welcoming! The interior was great, the yard not so much, but the inside was fine. Enough bathrooms to accommodate everyone and the window air conditioners were great. It was a short drive to the down town. The beds were a little short for my 6'2" husband, but there was plenty of beds to spread out too, as there was only 4 of us and the house will sleep at least 6.“

„We have stayed at this cabin several times and already have our next trip booked!! This place is for the nature lovers 🌲 the ones who do NOT want to be connected to a TV or phone 😊 Great trails on the property to go explore and listen to the wind blow through the trees. Terrific deck with lots of seating to enjoy the view of the Spanish Peaks! Craig and Judy are exceptional hosts and always take great care of us! “

„The host was very good explaining everything. this is the most well stocked VRBO I have ever stayed at, kitchen had virtually everything, place was roomy, clean, laundry and everything 3 hunters could ask for. In beginning with snow driveway was a challenge but so were roads! Very happy with everything!“

„Big bed was in the loft with a very steep stairway so ended up sleeping on the bottom of bunk bed on the lower level. Only 2 of us so they left 2 towels for our Thursday-Sunday stay and locked up the other towels in the bathroom- no washing machine to keep them clean after our hikes and lake adventures. There were bare minimum amenities so had to purchase a lot of necessities from the Shopping Bag store which was conveniently located at least. Propane grill was available, but no propane tank was ...

„This home is in a good location and has a nice, somewhat fenced yard. The floors are all hard surface, which is great. Check in and out was easy. The problem we had with this home was that it was very dirty. I kept my shoes on for the entire weekend. Only one window had a screen, so we could not let fresh air in to counter the strong air fresheners or cool down the house. We pick vrbo homes because we like to cook our own meals, but the oven was broken. I noticed that a guest commented on this a ...

„Comfortable mountain duplex but needed to be thoroughly cleaned. A few things needed to be repaired. The kitchen had what we needed to prepare meals. We would stay there again though since it’s near the lakes.“

„Not really set up for a long stay. A coffee maker and a shower would make even a short stay better.“

„The cabin is lovely and relaxing. It is isolated enough to enjoy the solitude of the land around you without being far from a neighbor. The location was perfect for us who had family staying at different venues from a hotel in Trinidad to camper camping at the creek a couple of miles up the road. Of the different cabin type places to stay - this one is exceptionally lovely. We would definitely stay again.“
