„The kids and I stayed there Christmas 2024. The location was located so we were 30 minutes from skiing and relatively close to the New River Gorge National Park which we explored on a few days. The cabin is in a rural area so traffic wasn't an issue. Dollar General is .5 away. The cabin is cozy and suited us well. The fire place was nice to dry ski gear and ambiance.“

„Me and my wife had an amazing time at this cabin! It was clean, orderly, and above all, peaceful! We hiked to the train tracks twice during our stay (there's no marked trails that we noticed but was a pleasant trek through the woods regardless). The second hike we ended up sheltering in the tunnel for a few since we got caught in a small snowstorm which was a new experience for my wife. Being from Mercer County myself I prepared for a relaxing stay with not much to do. I was surprised at the ...

„I loved this property was perfect for our family holiday weekend. It felt as if I walked into a Hallmark movie. Everything was decorated. We were able to place our gifts under the tree and open them up in the morning when we rose just like Christmas. Loved the porch and being able to sit around the fire ! We had everything we needed ! “

„My wife, daughter, and I stayed here while enroute to the Columbus Zoo in Ohio. The Glo Haus is a unique set up allowing for simple, low key lodging in a very beautiful and scenic area. My daughter spent more time either in or running along the babbling brook situated behind the structures. Each evening and morning we would sit and watch a group of deer that would walk down the hillside easement and eat the acorns that had fallen from the oaks on the property. „The house and the location were exactly what I was looking for. Located near Sandstone Falls and Big Branch Trail. The house is well stocked and clean. The screen porch with the view of the river is a great place to relax. Excellent 2 night stay.“

„Me and my girlfriend were looking for a nice place to stay for our anniversary. This was exactly what we were looking for! Place was very cute and cozy in the winter months with the furnace and the modular couch. We plan to come back in the warmer months considering how enjoyable our stay was and to use the grills and fire pit!“

„The house was very nice, roomy, and well maintained. The road leading in is narrow (which is expected for mountain roads), but the drive had plenty of parking. We throughly enjoyed watching the deer every morning and evening. Even though the trail head is farther than advertised (13 miles instead of 3 miles), the drive via SxS was very nice. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to see y’all again. “
