„I brought down 13 friends from Boston to come see a Clemson football game. It was an absolute blast, check in was super easy, Steve was very communicative, and this is the 2nd time we've stayed at this location. I can't imagine a better lake side getaway for a college football game.“

„We could not have had a more lovely stay! This lakefront cottage exceeded all of our expectations. The host has thought of all of the little details that make a stay more easy and comfortable. House is well stocked with water fun, games, books, kitchen items, etc. we definitely plan to come back.“

„This was my daughter wedding event, we can't be more happy about our stayed. we asked for an early checking and they were more than happy to help us. They are pet friendly, which is A+ for people like us that need to travel with ours fury babies. Great experience! we'll stay again next year.“

„We booked this home for a fall weekend and it was absolutely lovely. It's a great place to have a huge family together with lots of places to hang out and enjoy the lake views or enjoy each other. Our small family had everything we needed there to be very comfortable and were so close to Clemson University. Beautiful landscaping, beautiful lake view, beautiful dock! “

„Nice home with lots of room to spread out - large sunroom with TV, beautiful screened porch with comfortable seating and TV, and adequate living room for a small group. Dining table seats eight. Upstairs there are two large bunk rooms and a king bedroom but only one bathroom. Nice dock and porch for watching sunset. Enjoyed the fire pit.“

No detail was left undone and the owners thought of everything to make for the most welcoming stay. „We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Seneca! My husband and I have 6 sons and we gather together for usually a long weekend every year. We chose Seneca for a new experience and the property was perfect for our crowd. Loved the open kitchen and huge living area. One of our sons is a gourmet cook, so he was able to be part of the family vibes as he prepped the dinner. We will probably be returning next year!!“

„The best four days we could ask for to celebrate our anniversary and husband's birthday. The area is peaceful! The cabin is beautiful! We will be back“

„Nice renovation with all the basics. Listing and reviews accurate. Dock in good shape but path is only for people with good mobility. Trailer behind this house is literally a few feet from the lower deck but no one was there during our trip. Upper deck is a great spot for a morning cup of coffee.“

„This was our second time at this beautiful getaway home. Outstanding architecture and peaceful surroundings. We did have some visitors at the falls as we were there during the July 4th week, but that would be expected on a a summer holiday. They were at the bottom of the falls and did not bother anyone. If you need to get away from it all, this is the place to do it!“

Then we enjoyed a few days relaxing, fishing, star gazing, and watching the sunrise. Amanda and Lee were especially welcoming and helpful! The home is beautiful and perfect for a relaxing stay at the lake! We would choose The Sheltered Shores again! “

„My adult children and I had a great time at this property as everything was clean and as described in the listing. The property owner was very responsive and friendly. The property's dock was key as my kids spent quite a bit of time kayaking on the water. The upstairs layout was spacious and open allowing everyone to relax and interact. I'd definitely come back again.“
