„Owner is so responsive and we have everything what we need in kitchen. Very clean , warm and cozy house. Hot tub is very clean and can fit 6-7 persin even tho we are only 4 pwrson. Bed room is a little bit small if you are big person. But we are ok with that. Over all, we like this owl nest.“

„We had a lovely Thanksgiving at the Hobbit House! Nina was very helpful ahead of our visit and even sent me photos of the pots and pans to make sure we had what we needed to cook everything. The kids loved the trails and the hunt for the rings. They have put thought into all the little things such as labeling light switches, a QR code by the fire pit to assist with building a fire and labeling hot tub buttons so you don't accidentally press the wrong one. „Cabin was very clean and in a great location. Lots of clear instructions and smooth check in process. We really enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen was a little outdated and small but we were able to make do, and to be fair the pictures in the listing were accurate. Would stay again!“

„This place is spectacular! This is the 2nd time we have stayed at one jims cabins. And this time is snowed and it was just beautiful. „We had a wonderful time staying here. From the views and the surrounding scenery to the reassurance from the owners. Everything was so beautiful and felt peaceful. It was a little cold but nothing a cup of coffee and views of the lake couldn’t fix! We wish we could’ve checked out a little bit later but overall a wonderful experience. „A friend and I rendezvoused in the Canaan Valley in early November to hike in the nearby Dolly Sods and other trails in the area. Garagemahal was exactly as advertised: clean, quiet, spacious (for two people), and conveniently located. The owners/managers (Chip and Laurie), who live across the driveway, were friendly and available to provide information or report problems to (there weren't any), but were otherwise unobtrusive. We will return.“

„We enjoyed this quaint cottage tucked away, but yet close enough to the main road. It was just the right size for a couples weekend and appointed with everything we needed for this trip. What a nice surprise to find the Winery just around the bend. After a long day of hiking ohiopyle and exploring falling water, it was nice to enjoy some music at the Winery and then head back to the cottage and make a fire in the fireplace. „Our family enjoys DCL every other year for Thanksgiving. This year, we stayed at Magnolia and we were not disappointed. The house was well stocked with every-thing we needed. We loved the different sitting arrangements that afforded all of us a place to escape from the chaos, when necessary. “

„Great weekend getaway! Super close to restaurants/stores with beautiful lake view. Place was clean and bonus having water filtration system. There are a lot of steps from parking (since it was snowing we couldn’t get up driveway) but was not an issue. “
