„My teen daughters and I spent two nights at this cabin and had a wonderful time! The cabin was clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. And the owner was very easy to communicate with before and during our stay. We explored the town and enjoyed ourselves tremendously.“

„This charming cottage was perfect for myself and 2 friends. The weather eas rainy but cleared for beautiful sunsets. We even saw Northern lights. If the temperatures were warmer we would of kayaked. We had fun playing games, doing puzzles and takjng a day trip to Alpena. I would rent this cottage again when the weather is warmer to kayak and play in the lake.“

„We selected this place due to its access to Houghton Lake and because it was a great home base to be able to venture out and see various sites in Northern Michigan. It did not disappoint. The place was spotless with a small stock of snacks/beverages upon arrival. We had some confusion about using the door code to get in and the property manager walked us thru it immediately - very helpful. „Cute cabin, my nieces enjoyed the loft area. I just don't understand why they charge a large cleaning fee then ask the guests to wash & put away all dishes, round up all the towels and put them in the tub and strip the beds & pillows. Taking out the trash and cleaning your items from the refrigerator I get, but not the other stuff...unless you cut down the cleaning fee!“

„Very nice. Very close to lake. We had a problem with the AC we contact property manager and they were right on it.Owners came down and took care of it right away. More then enough room for our family. Even tho it rained most of the time we had a great time“
