„My son and I were in the area for work so we only stayed one night. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We weren't able to enjoy the adventures offered since it was a quick overnight stay. There's a nice walking path along the river, so we took advantage of that. “

„In the rear of the property facing the woods. The hotel has a plethora of feeders for birds and wildlife [Squirrels, rabbits, etc]. I could view an all-black squirrel for the first time in my life! In North Texas, we have the typical brown variety. At night, the fireflies lighting up the night was awesome as well! I am glad I had an upstairs room with a full view! “

„There is a bike trail right across the road, so we walked it in to town for dinner at a bbq place on the river. People two rooms down were sitting out front and friendly, but multiple cigarettes were enough to fill our room with the smell of smoke. When we returned from dinner they had retired and the smoke was gone. We had a great night’s sleep!“

„Communication with owner and the lady who's the manages the rentals was fantastic. They were considerate but couldn't help out since the whole place was booked that day. It emptied out the following day and we didn't get offered a better spot. According to Vrbo we thought we rented the one 20 steps off the water because of medical reasons and ended up 150 steps off the water with a small concrete slab and a gravel parking lot outside our door.
