„5 Sterne Apartment trifft es genau . Die Unterkunft liegt nicht weit vom Zentrum . Parken vor der Haustür. Im Apartment ist alles vorhanden was man braucht - selbst an das Waschpulver für die Waschmaschine wurde gedacht. Super bequemes Bett. Alles noch ziemlich neu und sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. “

„The beds were clean and comfortable. It has a pretty view of the lake. Great communication with host. Nothing really in walking distance, but we were able to easily call Ubers. Overall the property needed a deep cleaning. “

„Had a great stay. We had all we needed there and a paradise at the door step. Easy lake access, nearby mountain biking and even some kayaks we could use. The place is big enough to hold a couple families and have a great time hanging out out together. “

„This house provided space and everything we needed. It was very enjoyable and beautifully maintained. There was also an outdoor decking area, so although it was raining we didn't have to be inside all the time. :). I was very happy in choosing this place and the beds were great esp the king singles. “

„The location of this property is stunning. We woke to beautiful lake views every morning. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We had 4 teenagers and 3 adults and the house was the perfect size. Everyone had their space and there were plenty of activities to keep everyone busy.There were 2 pool tables and a ping pong table to keep the teens busy. We went kayaking almost every day and walked along the lake.When we weren’t out exploring the area and participating in all of the local adventure ...

„Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price“

„Host communication was good. Checking process seamless.Did not realise it was a studio room/bach until arrival but suited our needs.Was clean and functional.Dated but functional and price reflected this. Would suggest that more appropriate for able bodied folk due to the access to the property.The community and area were amazingly nice and the locals super helpful. Would definitely recommend for a getaway spit. Would also stay again. Amazing comnunity“

"Die Umgebung riecht bestialisch nach faulen Eiern. Das Badezimmer war sehr dreckig. Die Fugen waren schwarz und die Fliesen verdreckt. Die Abflussstopfen war wegen des Drecks stark verfärbt. Die Mechanik der Tür wirkte wie die eines Scheunentors. Es gibt keine Kleiderhaken und nur einen Mülleimer im Badzimmer. Die Fenster waren sehr schmutzig. Ich war froh, als ich den Ort endlich verlassen habe… "

Hotel okay, Frühstück leider sehr schlecht

"Hotel aus der Gründerzeit von 1897. Direkt im Ortszentrum. Historische Einrichtung in der Lobby, auch den Fluren. Viel Kronleuchter. Sehr stilvoll. Dielen knarrten schon sehr stark aber okay. Zimmer und Bad zweckmäßig und sauber. Die Putzfrau ließ unser Zimmer aber aus, schade. Großer Kritikpunkt: Das Frühstück. Very British - macht nichts. Aber es fehlte ständig alles. Geschirr, Tassen, Besteck. Dann waren der Kaffee und die Säfte alle, Toast und Aufschnitt sowieso und meistens kein Obst. Erst auf Nachfrage wurden die zwei Mitarbeiterinnen aktiv. Zu schlecht für ein Vier-Sterne-Hotel mit dieser langen Tradition. Insgesamt für ein paar Nächte aber in Ordnung. "
