„This cabin was great for what my wife and I needed on our weekend visit to the New River Gorge area. Great location at the southern end of the New River Gorge National Park but even closer to Bluestone State Park and Bluestone Lake/Marina being just a few minutes from Hinton,WV. “

„Started each day with a beautiful sunrise and ended with star filled skies. The property is quiet and peaceful. The deck was nice to sip our wine after hiking and exploring the area. We enjoyed our stay at the Mountain Retreat. It was clean and we had everything we needed to be comfortable while away from home. “

„We were in town for a conference and opted to stay at a cabin rather than a hotel. This cabin was perfect and had everything we wanted, including a king sized bed, hot tub, large comfortable couch, and much more. The place was extremely clean and well appointed, and communication with the property manager was prompt and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to come back. Thank you!“

„First time to the area. Easy to get to all three of the parks from the cabin. Pipestem is a beautiful park right acoss the road.The cabin was well equipped with blankets, towels & more . Of course i loved all the bear decor. Would highly recommend this cabin for your vacation spot. We hope to be back in the future.Lots to see and do. do and see“

„We found this little gem While making a quick trip to West Virginia to pick up a truck with a transmission problem. (Long story don’t even ask!). The little efficiency apartment was perfect for a one night stay, and would’ve been a wonderful place for a long-term use. I was a travel nurse for a long time and this would’ve been a perfect place to hang my hat during your contract. It was clean and well appointed. The TV was a little small, however, we were able to enjoy some Monday night football ...

„We loved this cabin perched on a hill with a beautiful view of the New River. The cabin is clean, modern—with charming hunting, vintage, and antique decorating touches. „The cabin was just what I needed as a place to stay to visit the New River Gorge National Park. I did not have a chance to use some of the extra amenities they offered, such as fire pit and hot tub but everything was ready to go, should I have. Cabin was very clean! I would stay again.“
