„…. Well, not exactly in “woods” but a very private setting , and for this “nature lover” traveler it was a great find. The private waterfall was amazing and I could hear it with windows opened and to see the Lake from my perch out the bedroom door was awesome also. It is cabin-like and not modernized - almost like it is stuck in time - but it was a warm and cozy place to come back to after day time site seeing - visiting Cornell, Ithaca, tons of parks and waterfalls - lots to do and see in ...

„Nice house. Second time we’ve stayed there (12/20). Easy access to wineries. Plenty of room for ten adults. Amenities were good. We would stay there again.One negative; there were some ants in the kitchen on a counter and on the floor. Not a lot, but noticeable. “

„This place had everything you need! It’s spacious and large and great for a big group of people. They had plenty of extra blankets for the really cold days. Everything was clean and organized when we got there!“

„The yurt was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the wood burning stove almost every night, played lots of puzzles and games, and enjoyed sightseeing in the area. We would have enjoyed getting to know the sheep and chickens a little (we were visited regularly by two handsome black kitties), but alas we couldn't find a time. Next time!“

„We wanted a winter getaway, and Don's cabin was the perfect escape! The private lakefront property, spacious accommodations, and hot tub were everything we hoped for! The house was well stocked, incredibly clean, and exactly as described. The location was also very convenient for local hikes and downtown.We will definitely return in the summer or fall. “

„This property was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of Watkins Glen. The cabin was in an excellent location, close to town for dining and shopping, we enjoyed our stay , everything is provided for you and is spacious and clean. We will most likely come back when weather allows for more seasonal activities like hiking, camping and boating. Access to trails was very limited due to icy conditions but the frozen waterfalls provided some beautiful photos , looking forward to ...

„It was a wonderful weekend with friends! The view was spectacular and it was great sitting with a cup of coffee looking at the lake. The hot tub and game room were well used and shared with lots of laughter. The house was spacious and clean. We look forward to booking it again!!“

„What an amazing spot for anytime of the year! “

„This is house is nice on the main floor. The lower floor indeed had a musty smell. We were going to use both floors but did not end up using the lower floor. The musty smell was bothersome. We tried to open the windows but either they were labeled to not be opened up or they did not work. I think if your were able to open the windows that would help. The main floor was well stocked for cooking and the deck and inside seating was great. The beds were comfortable. “

„We picked this place as it had 2 rooms with king beds, for our 2 couples plus it was dog friendly. The owners left a dog bed for our pup to sleep in. The house is beautifully renovated. We did struggle with a lady bug problem in the family room but I think it was due to the temps and being an old house. The location is perfect along the Keuka outlet trail. We arrived at night and I wish the house was a little better lit as the property is fairly remote“

„Nice place on the lake, very quiet and private, everything is included in the rental, nothing really to bring (except keurig coffee pods) Plenty of room we had a family of 8 including small children. The kitchen was a bit crowded, the furniture the house is on the older side. But overall nice place to rent. We would recommend. Thank you for your hospitality. “

„The house was absolutely gorgeous. Big open floor plan plenty of room for the eight of us that were there. The host was absolutely phenomenal as far as giving advice as to what was in the area along with knowledge of his house and even sent information prior to check-in. The check-in process was a breeze as we knew exactly what was going on before hand The house was immaculately clean, and you couldn’t ask for a more pleasant environment. „The house is beautiful, clean and cozy. When we arrived, the heat had been set to 65, it was quite cold. It did take a while to warm up as it's radiant heat (in the floors). Could have used a few more necessities in the kitchen. The game room offers hours of endless fun. “

"Spacious and clean room, sufficient parking space and good breakfast w/o extra charge, WLAN working w/o problems. Great waterfalls nearby. Only thing one shouldn't expect is modern equipment, condition rather out of date and old. Stayed one night and would stay again."

"Günstige Absteige, für eine Nacht okay. Haben erst ein Zimmer bekommen wo die ganze dreckige Bettwäsche abgezogen drinnen lag, wurden dann aber schnell in ein anderes überwiesen. War aber kein guter erster Eindruck und richtig wohl gefühlt hat man sich nicht. Frühstück sehr schlecht. Nettes Personal. "
