„The location is excellent, right in town. We used the Mansley car park, which is well priced, so it meant a car free weekend. The bathroom is very well appointed, with a great shower and sparkling clean. The kitchenette area was useful and the room size is spacious. Downside, soundproofing between floors is not great and although they were not noisy, we could hear the people upstairs walking on the floor, their telephone conversations and were woken up by phone alarm (7:30 am Sunday). “

„The apartment we stayed in was perfect for our stay as a basis to explore Gloucester and the northern Cotswolds. The docks with a choice of restaurants is in walking distance, parking for the car at the back with easy access. Beds were super comfy. Everything was clean. Perfect. We will be back! “

One morning we mentioned to Arthur that the frying pan was warped and a bit difficult to cook with, and when we returned that evening a bag with a new pan was hanging on the door. Arthur also made some good recommendations for visiting local attractions. Enjoyable stay.“

„We stayed in the 1 bed apartment, it had everything you need and was great to have the kitchen facilities. Lovely great big shower and everything nice and clean. I slept on the sofa bed and it was extremely uncomfortable, it’s one of those clic clac sofa beds so the surface isn’t designed for sleeping, you feel all the firm shapes of the sofa design and a big channel down the centre. I basically didn’t sleep so I advise everyone to book an apartment with enough actual beds for your party. But ...

„The cottage is warm and comfortable and its proximity to Bourton a definite plus. The only reason I put good instead of excellent is because the beds are not king sized as listed (as far as an American king - perhaps UK sizing is different) and although a dryer is listed as an amenity, there is only a washer w/ drying line“

„Ich bin seit vielen Jahren immer wieder in diesem Hotel, aber so langsam wäre es nötig, die Zimmer und Bäder zu renovieren und mehr auf Sauberkeit zu achten. Im Bad sind die Fugen schwarz verschimmelt. Im WC waren noch Hinterlassenschaften der Vorgänger. Das Frühstück ist nach wie vor in Ordnung. Aber wenn das mit der Sauberkeit nicht besser wird, werde ich in Zukunft ein anderes Hotel suchen müssen.“

"Ich bin seit vielen Jahren immer wieder in diesem Hotel, aber so langsam wäre es nötig, die Zimmer und Bäder zu renovieren und mehr auf Sauberkeit zu achten. Aber wenn das mit der Sauberkeit nicht besser wird, werde ich in Zukunft ein anderes Hotel suchen müssen."

"I really really enjoyed my stay at the hotel! Its perfect place to get into the Cotswold, go on hikes or just relax. To the hotel do not expect a 5 star spa high-end hotel. This hotel has a lot of english charm which i loved!! My room just had one wardrobe with just 10 hangers ,so all the shirts and underwear stayed in the bags. Which is no problem for me but maybe a bigger wardrobe wouldake sense here. Great big bathroom, everything was clean and tidy 👍👌 You even have a samll SPA area with 1x sauna and a steam room and jacuzzi (you have to pay extra but its ok its holiday). i would definitely come again!"
