"I Loved the charm of the old days. Loved the stairs in the Lobby. Few Things should be done : isolating the Windows, warm dishes for Break-fast like ham and eggs, few places where fresh Paint is needed, Put Covers in the Coke cans maybe with Hotellogo as it spoiles the charm when you think about the Name Royal. But Seen in total it was a very pleasent stay and I would book it again."

"It was ok to just sleep there, but £860 for 3 Nights is way too much! The Hotel looks terrible from the Outside, in there is ir ok but everywhere smells ist like someone smoked in there… and the Furniture looks like it’s the same since 1970. sorry but there was nothing beautiful, the only thing which was ok was, that we slept well, even though it was noisy and we heard everything from the People at the next Rooms. It was way to expensive!!!"

"Wir waren in den sog. Gardensuites untergebracht. Offenbar kann man da auch als Gast mit Hund unterkommen, was aber nicht kommuniziert wird. Die Einrichtung war unpraktisch. Da wir zum Frühstücksraum im Haupthaus etc. durch den Regen gehen mussten, vermissten wir eine Garderobe für die nassen Jacken. Das Bad ist riesig, aber keine Ablagemöglichkeiten. Nur eine Regendusche. Zahlreiches Personal, aber unpersönlich, z. B. keine Hilfestellung beim Schleppen des Gepäcks, trotz unserer Nachfrage und einer offensichtlichen körperlichen Einschränkung meinerseits."
