Motel 6, Georgetown

"Very nice hotel in walking distance from the center - about 15-20 minutes walk to the capitol (or you take the subway, 5 minutes walk). Excellent breakfast, one of the best I had in this price range in the US. Good cappucino as well. The Restaurant on the top floor has a terrace with a nice view over washington with the capitol in the distance. But the restaurant is to pricey for what they offer."

"The hotel is really nice. We were not so happy with the room. During the day it smelled of onions - really badly! If I would habe recognized that the standard rooms are so dark, I would habe booked another category. It was not clear enough what the differences are. We also had an disabled room were the doors did not close easily… More information would have been nice in the room description. Long waiting during morning in the morning, so we used the exit stairs… but we werw in the 3 floor only."
