„The property was located in a peaceful wooded area on the quiet side of Acadia. It was not far to the major attractions in Acadia and Bar Harbor. Comfortable, clean space. There really isn’t a kitchen - no stove or sink, but there is a microwave, coffee pot and you can wash dishes in bathroom sink. There is a fridge. It had everything we needed since we were not cooking - just reheating. Lots of information sent ahead by the owners. We really enjoyed our stay. “

„My husband and I had a wonderful stay for our first anniversary. Bar Harbor is a beautiful town and this VRBO is located directly in the middle of it all. The location was perfect for walking to food, shops, the pier, and most importantly, the Island Explorer bus stops. Although a little pricey, it was tidy, warm and had everything we needed in the kitchen and extra bedding for snuggling up.“

„My family of 4 had such a great time in this home in Southwest Harbor. I am so thankful for this peaceful retreat away from the crowds and stress of Bar Harbor. The house was lovely, quiet, and cozy. It was so clean and well-constructed. We have stayed in rental properties about twice a year for the last 12 years, and this one was my favorite. The owners are meticulous with their information and instructions which I really appreciated. They took as much time to prepare the home and visitors as I ...

„great location close to Main St. Kitchen and part of bath undated. Cons: toilet crooked; floors in rooms old. Communication process for check in a little rocky: didn't get electronic documents or check-in info until last minute; onsite housekeeper had changed. Pros: Owner worked hard to clear up communication confusion despite being away on vacation. “

„Property is new construction and very nicely laid out. Location is set back from the road so there is prettymcuh no noise from cars. My son and I had a great time walking through the woods on the property. Mike, the owner, was very communicative and had no issues with our requests“

„The studio is clean and in a great location to access Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. As described in other reviews, the ceiling is slanted and walls are thin. My husband bumped his head a few times and we could hear children playing in the other units. These two items did not hinder our experience. “

„ Exceeded all expectations !“

„Clean, nicely appointed small getaway without all the hubbub of other places on MDI. Suited the needs of two participants in MDI marathon/ half marathon. As stated in property description, there is a ladder to the sleeping loft but one with which sore runners had no problem. Assume the water is heated by tankless heater because hot/water available upon demand. Nice!!! We were there 3 nights, would liked to have stayed longer. Great jumping off place to explore the island. Highly recommend.“

"Brandnew Hotel in Bar Harbor with all most modern amenities and thoroughly styled. We were staying for 3 nights with 2 standard king rooms booked on ground floor and got an upgrade to 3rd floor for a huge corner room for the parents and an adjacent big room for our kids. The breakfasts were awesome, not the usual hustle and bustle of a buffet, but a choice of either hearty or sweet breakfasts were served on porcelain at our table with cutlery and cloth serviettes, along with a choice of orange juice and coffees or teas and fruits. Also the afternoon tea and cookie hour was a very nice asset. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay between the year end's holidays."

"Die Zimmer sind veraltet und extrem ringhörig. Das Bett war extrem umbequem. Es gibt in der nähe kein Frühstücksangebot. Das Restaurant vom Hotel hat zwar ab 8 Uhr geöffnet es wird aber auch beim Frühstück die gleiche Karte wie beim Abendessen angeboten. Das Abendessen war gut jedoch schliesst das Restaurant bereits um 20 Uhr."

Location and service are ok, price too high

"Good central location, service is alright, rooms are clean and everything works. Furniture and interior are rather dated and only medium quality. Air condition works, but is very loud. Daily rate is significantly too high for the service and room you get. "
