„Property was very nice and clean. Just 3 cabins on site so a small establishment. The owner/manger seemed nice. There were pastries etc for breakfast but we had bagels with us which we toasted in the toaster in the cabin and had with some nice hot coffee. The roon was mostly well appointed. The bed was a bit soft for us but others may like it. Best part is you can walk to the lighthouse which makes great sense during sunset times. “

„Perfect location and beautiful house. We are a family of 10 adults and had plenty of room. The park is fun to visit though parking can be challenging. The same with Bar Harbor, great town but difficult to park. I’d recommend this home and location for a Fall getaway. Foliage was amazing. House was clean and stocked but needed a few more forks and coffee cups. 😀“

„Listing says it’s walkable, but it’s probably a good 20 minute walk and it’s not ideal with kids because of traffic once you get into Acadia. It is a short drive to Jordan pond house though. Our mattress was from 2007 and we did not sleep good at all because of it. Not enough seats for 4 to relax in living room after a long day of hiking either. Very responsive host so that was a positive.“

„I loved this location away from all of the busyness of Bar Harbor. The cottage had everything I needed for cooking there, and after a few nights on the road with questionable showers, the heat and pressure of the shower were amazing!“

„We, a couple with two children, rented the house for one week during our summer vacation. Arriving from Europe we found the house easily and everything was as described. It is a lovely, clean and well equipped location with sufficient space for up to six persons. The location allows easy access to the Acadia Nationalpark, the beach of the Echo Lake (warm water temperature for kids) is only a few minutes drive away.
