„This place is amazing for a large family getaway! Pet friendly and kid friendly. There isn’t too much around the area, but having access to a pool, the boats and canoes, fishing/crabbing supplies, and the large living area made this perfect for our trip. Multiple rooms, multiple couches and multiple areas to play board games. Definitely worth a second trip and the owner (Tom) made everything incredibly easy Thank you again for letting us use your lovely home! “

„I almost don’t want to write this review bc then I’ll have to compete with more people next time we want to rent this property but it really is something! We had two families with a total of 5 children under 5. The house was perfect. Huge kitchen with everything. There was even a crib for the baby! The heated pool tired everyone out. The beach was lovely. The pier was perfect for the kids to jump into the water and swim to shore. After bedtime, the fire pit was nice to unwind. Cant say ...

„This is a nice little cottage, tucked away from everything right on the river. I was looking for some peace and quiet, and that’s exactly what I got. Even though the weather wasn’t great, the sunroom still let me enjoy the views. “

„Beautiful place, very clean and nicely decorated. The only thing I wish was better was to have a bathroom upstairs and the stairs to be a bit easier to access, they are a bit tricky for those over 50:) nice view too!“

„We stayed here over the Labor Day weekend to celebrate a 40th birthday with friends and family. We had an amazing time and the weather was perfect. We enjoyed using the dock for swimming, crabbing and fishing during the day and enjoyed grilling and fires at night. The kids loved the kayaks, air hockey table and bunkbeds. And the views of the water from the house and patio were excellent! We highly recommend staying here and we will definitely return.“

„This was our third year celebrating our family Thanksgiving in this home. Three generations coming from three different states. Location offers an easy drive for everyone, and the home is large enough for us spread out yet gather for meals. The host listened to our comments from previous years and addressed all of our concerns. Will be returning again.“

„We had a chance to spend the weekend with our kids (age 18 and 20), and we couldn't have asked for a better location. The view was spectacular and the home was perfect. It was so peaceful and relaxing, yet there was so much to do—fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, ping-pong, darts, board games, the list goes on. Everyone had a fantastic time. The only problem is that were only there for three nights!“

„We booked this bayside property for a short family vacation and the house and amenities were exactly what we needed during our time at Hays Beach. There were ample bedrooms and spaces for all of us to relax, the kitchen was well appointed. The beach in front of the house was perfect for our grandson to play in a small pool while the others lounged in chairs or were in the water directly in front of the house.
