„Absoluter Geheimtipp, Wer auf das alte England und auf schöne Pubs steht, ist hier absolut richtig. Das Hotel hat nur zwei Zimmer, die Einrichtung ist der Hammer, habe noch nie ein Hotel gesehen welches so liebevoll eingerichtet ist. Personal ist top. Es ist auf dem Dorf und man würde es wahrscheinlich nicht zufällig finden, da es etwas abseits der Route ist. Für uns aber kein Problem. Unbedingt zu empfehlen wenn man in Dover ankommt und anschließend weiter reisen möchte. “

„Das Hotel liegt an einer vielbefahrenen Hauptstraße. Die zur Straße gelegenen Zimmer bieten Blick auf die Eingangsfassade der Museumsanlage. Bis in die Nacht hinein hört man den Verkehr. Die Möbel im Zimmer sind abgewohnt, das Bad ist in einem erbärmlichen Zustand (Schimmel in der Dusche, kein zuverlässiges Warmwasser, defekte Klobrille, Unsauberkeiten in den Ecken). Frühstück o.k., die Preise im Restaurant und im Inn sind überzogen.“

„Super netter kleiner Pub mit Zimmern. Zimmer sind praktisch eingerichtet, etwas hellhörig, aber wir waren nur eine Nacht da, also alles gut. Für englische Verhältnisse war es super, obwohl die Deckenlampe zum Teil defekt war, ebenso wie Nachttischlampe. Wandlampe hatte keine Glühbirne. Personal war super nett, da gab es nichts zu Meckern. Frühstück ist frisch und nach Wunsch zubereiten.“

„Loved our stay at The Gallivant and would definitely visit again! Due to the location of the hotel I think this is definitely more of a seasonal hotel, however this didn’t impact my opinion of it, the service was great, room was lovely and the food (both breakfast and dinner) was incredible! My only complaint is that they don’t have tea/coffee making facilities in the room, we were told that we could go to the bar for these however, they charge for them on your bill at the end of the stay which ...

„We had a lovely time at the Tiger Inn East Dean celebrating my friends birthday. The room was cosy and very pretty, it had everything we needed. The shower was powerful and hot which we enjoyed. The breakfast was great neither of us needed lunch after it. The village of East Dean is charming and has many original features. We ate dinner at the Tiger Inn and had a lunch at Hikers Rest. We didn't have time to visit the Thai restaurant that we heard was good or the deli cafe.“

„This is a property from the 1800's so this should give you an idea of what to expect. Lots of grand original features and very traditional. My room was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. The hosts were an absolute joy to be around and provided great company and conversation. Breakfast was delicious and set me up nicely for the day. I would recommend without hesitation and I look forward to staying again. “
