„Exceeded expectations. We wanted to stay on this side of the island to be farther from the Kona side and tourists. Location was fantasti. Ocean viewable from the house and lanai. Darker in area so star werw spectator. Kitchen and house well stocked with most basics needed. No AC but ceiling fans throughout and windows provide nice breezes Would definitely recommend and stay again! Communication was excellent “

Nachts hört man den Sound der Natur, zirpen der Grillen, Vogelgezwitscher u.ä. Der Vermieter ist hilfsbereit, hält sich ansonsten diskret zurück. Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt.“

„We entered the place with both grandparents and kids, 8 people in total. The 4 nights were absolutely too short to enjoy everything but the time we had was great. The house itself is very comfortable, nicely decorated and very clean. The view is amazing! Hilo as city is fantastic and the volcano park is a must to go. We did barbecue and enjoyed the house. Thanks to the parents of Robin for your hospitality and the nice coffee and cookies. Mahalo!“

„We were using this place as a base, from which we explored the eastern half of Big Island. For us as a family of 4, it was a great place, which provided an individual room for both of our kids. We also really enjoyed the provided snorkelling gear and beach equipment. Communication with the hosts was very good. Our only minor point of concern during our stay was that the washing machine had broken down prior to our arrival and wasn't available to us, but we managed without.“

„Das Haus ist sehr grosszügig, sehr sauber und hat alles, damit man sich wohlfühlen kann. Die Lage ist optimal, um viele Hotspots von Big Island erkunden zu können. Die verschiedenen Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten, wie Billiard, Fahrräder oder Basketball konnten wir auch immer wieder nutzen. Ein rundum toller Aufenthalt im Haus von Howard. Vielen Dank!“

"Die Unterkunft ist wie man sich ein typisch hawaiianisches Hotel vorstellt. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber sehr sauber. So wie wir gesehen haben, renovieren sie laufend Zimmer. Sehr schöner wilder Garten, in welchem man sich gerne aufhält. Sehr freundliches Personal. Einfaches Frühstück. Obwohl es ein Nichtraucherhotel ist, hat es ein Plätzchen im Garten wo geraucht werden darf. "
