„What a lovely quiet area with lots of walks but close to towns and villages with things to do and see. The grounds were well looked after and usable by our dog as was a good part of the restaurant. The 2 crowning glories though were: the food which was of a high standard being well cooked and presented and the staff who were really welcoming and friendly throughout, knowlegeable about the food on offer and well paced with the ordering and delivery of the food. “

„Leider sieht das Hotel auf der Homepage viel besser aus als in Wirklichkeit. Zur Zeit unseres Besuches waren die komplette Zufahrt und der Garten eine einzige Baustelle. Der Wunsch nach einem ruhigen Zimmer konnte nicht erfüllt werden - im Gegenteil, unser Zimmer war direkt über der Küche und dem Gastraum - von ruhig also keine Rede! Im Zimmer gab es anstelle eines Stuhls nur einen kleinen Hocker vor dem Spiegeltisch, bei einem Doppelzimmer etwas wenig... Das Bad war frisch renoviert und ...

„Tolles Anwesen mit einem schönen weitläufigen Gelände. Großes Zimmer und neues Bad. Das Abendessen war gut, das Frühstück ebenfalls. Der Service schien überlastet, da neben Touristenbesuchen parallel mehrere Feierlichkeiten (Hochzeit, runde Geburtstage) etc. statt gefunden haben.“

„Nice room. Front desk staff were great. Hotel is beautiful and the setting is idyllic. Parking was easy and convenient. Great place to stay if they could improve on some things. No coffee maker, only instant coffee. Housekeeping to need improvement. First night towels removed but not replaced. Combo shower tub would not drain when showering. Complained twice with no luck. Final night no tea or instant coffee replacement so we had to run to the front desk for a couple of coffee packets. We ...

„Prinzipiell ordentliches Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, gute Parkmöglichkeit. In unserer Badewanne waren noch Haare vom Vorgänger und obwohl Doppelzimmer gebucht nur ein Handtuch im Badezimmer. Ansonsten angenehme Ambiente, hilfsbereites Personal und netter Pub um den Abend ausklingen zu lassen. “

Unberechtigte Belastungen meiner Kreditkarte des H

"Hotel Hat eine Garantie von ca 60 E beim Check von meiner Kreditkarte geblockt. 2 Tage nach dem Aufenthalt wurden die 60 E von der Kreditkarte abgezogen plus 80 E für eine angebliche Rechnung im Hotel Restaurant welche nicht von mir getätigt wurde da ich weder in der Bar war noch im Restaurant. Mittlerweile habe ich 5 x im Hotel abgerufen plus 5 Email geschrieben und bis zum heutige Tag keine Antworten erhalten. Unter dem Strich wurden ca 150 E von meiner Kreditkarte unrechtens belastet."

Nice small rooms

"Very interesting hotel pretty much in the center of Birmingham. (You walk around 10-15 minutes to Central Station) The room was small but sweet and the bed was comfortable. What I liked was the easy access over smartphone. I wasn't a big fan of the shower/toilet combo though. So in the end it was great for a one night stay, but the wet floor in the bathroom would bother me if I stayed longer. "
