„I don’t even know where to begin. The quality of the place was outstanding and the location was perfect quiet and a nature bliss. The house is clean, cozy, and charming. We lacked nothing. My uncle who is a retired said this was the best place and the best accommodations he has have received. I will be returning:)“

„We had a wonderful stay here! The propery is well maintained and spacious. We loved walking to the brook in the morning (the mist above the water with the reflection of the foliage was beautiful)- and there were many trails to investigate! The bedroom was cozy and the den was comfortable. Our dog Harlie loved the house- and the back yard- and the walks. Thanks for a great stay!“

„We stayed here for a Fall weekend. Spectacular views. The place is clean and fit our family (2 adults, 4 kids 13-16) with ample space. While the place certainly has its quirks, everything was fantastic. We are planning to come back during a different season.“

„We look for places to golf and then find place to stay. This was the perfect place for our four couples and two infants. The view of the lake was great with the mountains behind it. The landscape and pond were perfect for the warm summer days. Plenty of activities for us and the children here. Needless to say this house exceeded our expectations and we all left wishing we stayed a few days longer!“

„This home is spectacular! It's spacious and comfortable. The dining table can accommodate 12 guests. There is ample outdoor seating as well. The lawn is massive, allowing young children and pets ample room to play without fear of them getting too close to the water. The owner is very responsive in the event that you have a question. „The house was great, had a nice deck, and a dock which allowed for lake views and easy access to the water. We were able to use their kayak, a hammock and a nice grill which added to the fun and relaxation. Overall we were very happy with our stay.“

„We stayed in the cottage during the third weekend of October, yet the foliage was still beautiful. We were located just a few minutes away from Crystal Lake State Park, Lake Willoughby, and wonderful local restaurants like Roberto's Pizza and Barton Baking. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed, including heating and a nice fireplace. Highly recommend!“

I had my 89 year old father with us and the only negative for us was no railngs on any steps going into the house or in the basement which is where the only shower was and no bathroom on the main level .
