„We were excited to stay on a boat again, as we had done in Boston and had loved it. Upon arrival, we noticed this boat was older, which i have no problem with, but it was dirty overall. We did not use the kitchen (which would have been great for just having breakfast in, at least). Coffee pot was at least 30 years old and looked it (we had one early in our marriage). The sponge in the kitchen was old and has hair on it. I found 2 orthodontic rubber bands on the floor, one by the dining room ...

„We booked two float homes and loved every minute. Pearl was easy to communicate with and quick to answer questions. This was a rustic relaxing vacation. The float homes didn’t rock as crazy as I would have liked because Strawberry Island is on the inlet side of the ocean but they certainly rocked gently here and there. Cooking and heat are via propane but the houses have electricity and city water which tasted divine right out of the tap! The properties are dog friendly but don’t stink at all. ...

It is close enough to Ottawa to be able to experience all the area has to offer yet far enough out to find peaceful relaxation if you prefer. The houseboat is such a unique experience. „We had a wonderful girls’ getaway on the houseboat. Location is beautiful, peaceful and secluded. The houseboat/tiny home is very nicely appointed with absolutely everything you need for your stay. Brent and Michelle are perfect hosts and great communicators. Highly recommended. “

„Es ist ein Highlight hier zu übernachten. Super nette Gastgeber, herzliche Atmosphäre. Und dieses wird gelebt und bezieht die anderen Gäste, die es möchten, mit ein. Die Kajüte war super eingerichtet. Es ist ein Schiff mit Atmosphäre und kein Kreuzfahrt-Riese. Höhepunkt ist sicher, wenn abends auf dem Schiff gekocht wird. Wir waren an einem Montagabend hier, da war verständlicherweise das Bootsrestaurant geschlossen. Toller Tipp der Gastgeber war ein Restaurant in 3 Minuten Fußweg Entfernung, ...

„Staying on a house boat with the mountains in view wnd the ocean air was such an adventure for this Prairie girl. The kitchen was a good size and having laundry was a huge bonus. The host was super easy to contact and helpful! There is is next door assistance for anything that may come up. “
