„Had a lovely last minute visit with 2 friends. Beautiful moonlight over the lake, meals on the deck and swims in the lake. We canoed, paddle boarded and biked in the area - 5 kms to the recreational trail. Ceiling in the loft is probably low for most adults. Scott was very easy to communicate with“

„WE had a family vacation with 4 children 9-18 years and 6 adults. The place is as described, but one needs to read the description carefully - see next re water access. The access to the water is not easy as it is down a path through rocks and when you get to the water it is all green and slimy with a dock covered in goose poop. We did go kayaking, but swimming etc. is not an option. You can go to other beaches, but the lake had an E.coli outbreak so there was no swimming. An in-ground pool ...

„My wife and I had a fantastic week at the residence. The house was fantastic. It is a beautiful setting on a beautiful lake, very private. The hosts were very responsive to our needs. Calabogie it self is a great small town with very good restaurants. The lake was fantastic. Swimming was great, Fishing was great. We could not rate this rental any lower than absolutely superb.“

„The place was small and cozy. We didn’t need anything bigger! We only slept in the main bed and it was a comfortable sleep. The waterfront is weedy but still nice to sit on the dock to soak it in. The kayaks are a good touch and there are hiking trails across the road. The property was nice and quiet. The house was equipped with most things. I’d suggest bringing it if you think you’ll need it. More longing chairs would have been a nice touch, especially down on the dock. Communication was slow ...

„We spend 3 nights at Gabriel's cottage. We had a good Time . Positive aspects; Beauty of the site, the the outside space; patio, SPA, dock, ... However there is a very steep trail to reach the dock. There is one peddle and ONE kayak .. (I wish we had 2). The fridge and the shower were dirty when we got there. The rest was ok and the bedding were clean et smelled good. No board Games and very few toys as it says. But all in all a great place and a Nice stay test was oktest es ok.“

„Just as advertised! Large property, although the hike back up the hill from the beach was a bit taxing (but that's just me being out of shape). The hikes through the conservation area were great being so close. Our teens also loved the canoe and kayak that were available too! “

„We very much enjoyed our stay. The hosts are wonderful - friendly, flexible, accommodating, great communication. Cozy, comfortable cottage, with everything ready for a fun time. We appreciated having access to a few different boats, as well as the library and games room. The lake is beautiful, with a charming little town nearby. The water was very calm when we were there, and we saw a ton of fish jumping. There are other cottages close by on the property, which limits privacy somewhat.“

Again, the house had everything needed for our stay - nothing from home required. Our dog especially loves the acres of private forested trails. “
