„Great location, very peaceful & fab hot tub.“

„We stayed for one week in July 2022 in this very nice house. The contact with the owners was very smooth. The complete house and especially the kitchen was extremely well equipped, and the beds were comfortable too. The location of the house is in a very nice and quiet area. Located nearby the sea with some nice beach areas and cliffs ... a beautiful part of Scotland. Overall, we can only recommend this house especially for families and larger groups. „Great spot for exploring Galloway. Hot tub overlooking the forest, and walks starting straight from the cabin. Wildlife all around. Note that it is attached to another cabin & a farm, so it's not isolated - but we did feel like we had privacy. Otherwise a washing machine could be a good addition. Dave & Becky were very helpful, we'd definitely come back!“

„Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Haus. Kirsty und Matt waren bei Problemen sofort zur Stelle und haben sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Leider sind die Betten schon ziemlich alt und durchgelegen. Darum nur 4 Sterne.“

„We stayed 6 Nights and found a cottage with very modern furniture, all you Need in the kitchen, own BBQ Grill Outside including Picnic Area. Allthough Its in the countryside, with a lot of nature around (trees, River, sheep, Cattle, birds and Flowers- you have a stabile wifi Connection. So What ever you seek- you are able to totally relax and disconnect or connect via the net. The Host family is Nice and live also on the ground in case you Need anything. Galloway Forest Park is nearby with walks ...

„Helendale was our second cottage in Scotland and we loved it like the other before. We were six people and two dogs and had space for everyone. The next shop is ten minutes away by car, but the reward is quitness, you are only hearing the sea and seagulls, and a stunning view for sundowners.“

„Overall good location. Owner is lovely.“

„The house was perfect for our family of 7, with four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. All rooms were a good size with a large kitchen dinner. The bonus for us with two teenage grandchildren was the pool table and table tennis. Would go back anytime.“

„The rooms were comfortable. A beautiful view with a big garden. Suzi and Callum communicate well with us. A good place for a a big family. “

„A great week in Sandhead with the family, location is perfect, with the beach almost on the doorstep.House was spacious, well equipped and definitely somewhere where we will return to.“

„House is very well designed and furnished to a very high standard and us only a 10 minute walk from the village and 5 minute walk to the golf course. The views from the decking area are beautiful. We were met by our host Kate who could not have been more helpful. Lots of beautiful walks with breath taking scenery.“

„Joanna was a wonderful host who made us feel like we were at home away from home. The property is lovely and peaceful, perfect for a quiet Christmas. The house was immaculate and well stocked with everything you could need! The wood burner in the livingroom made for a really cosy atmosphere. We will definitely be back again! “
