„I needed last minute accommodations, and wanted something different than just another motel. This place was PERFECT. Absolutely cozy and comfortable cabin, a lovely outdoor space to relax or stargaze, and a very friendly host who has clearly put care and effort into this space. I wasn’t sure what to expect from a “glamping” type stay, and it was well above my expectations. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer!“

„Sehr spezielle und isoliert gelegene Unterkunft mit eigenem, liebevoll angelegtem Trail am Haus, der zu einer sumpfigen Lichtung führt. Auf dem großen Grundstück grasten abends Stachelschweine :-). Es gab einen Gasgrill und unterhalb der Terrasse eine Feuerstelle mit Stühlen. Für Kinder ist das Haus super! Die Cabin war sehr gepflegt, sauber, gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die technische Grundausstattung ist gut. Ein besonderes Highlight waren die sehr bequemen Betten in der oberen Etage. ...

„This is a quiet and well kept property. Plenty of room to find a quiet space to relax by the river. A private dock to launch a kayak, swim or tube. The view was great . All amenities for outdoor activities were setup like Volleyball and badminton. Also a nice fire pit with plenty of outdoor seating. Get your own wood . Tiki torches were set up but you have to bring your own fuel also. We brought our own kayak. The kitchen was equipped with all pans and utensils to cook and a great big grill ...

Lake was frozen (should have brought skates!) - but looks like a great place to stay summer or winter. 15 minutes to Sunday River.Janna was very responsive to any questions we had. "Brandnew Hotel in Bar Harbor with all most modern amenities and thoroughly styled. We were staying for 3 nights with 2 standard king rooms booked on ground floor and got an upgrade to 3rd floor for a huge corner room for the parents and an adjacent big room for our kids. The breakfasts were awesome, not the usual hustle and bustle of a buffet, but a choice of either hearty or sweet breakfasts were served on porcelain at our table with cutlery and cloth serviettes, along with a choice of orange juice and coffees or teas and fruits. Also the afternoon tea and cookie hour was a very nice asset. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay between the year end's holidays."

"Das Hotel selbst ist sehr gut. Der Zustand auch. Das kostenlose Frühstück ist absolut in Ordnung. Am ersten Tag war die Mitarbeiterin beim Frühstück total unfreundlich. Beim zweiten Mal (dieselbe) war sie recht freundlich. Housekeeping hat bei uns leider nicht funktioniert. Auch auf Nachfrage nicht. Wir mussten uns dann selbst um Handtücher kümmern. Die Gegend ist gut."
