„My husband, baby, and I, along with another couple and their baby, stayed at this cottage during our trip to Cape Breton. The cottage was more spacious than we expected and fit us well. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining area was great. Our favorite part was the proximity to the beach! Great sand and swimming, and the location made it perfect for running back and forth with kids. This place is a drive away from any amenities, which we knew, but something to take into consideration.“

„This was the PERFECT place to stay for us. Four adults (two couples) so the living room and deck was perfect for us to be able to socialize comfortable in the evening. „We stayed here two nights while we explored the Cabot Trail and Cape Breton. It was a perfect location right on the water! Beautiful view despite the poor weather we had. Nice to walk the boardwalk and walk to dinner. The placement of the potty in the bathroom was curious, but we had a giggle over it. That said, the kitchen was equipped with what we needed, beds were comfy, and it was a very cute apartment! “

„The Compass House is cozy, well stocked, and located in the heart of Baddeck close to the water. Great walking area, and close drive to historical sites. The four of us, two couples, enjoyed the house immensely and the beds were so comfortable. And it was well stocked with those things you hate to buy while on vacation like dish soap, laundry detergent, and paper towels. It’s a 10 out of 10 for sure!“

Facilities were clean and comfortable, however, going up the stairs to the room was difficult for my sister due to her bad knees, bed was a little small for my wife and I but was comfortable. Das Badezimmer könnte eine Renovierung vertragen. Das Ufer vom See ist durch Algen/Seegras so verdreckt, dass man nicht schwimmen gehen konnte. Ein Pool ist vorhanden.
