„What a beautiful place. Inside and out. So enjoyed sitting outside and watching the sunrise and set. The stars are plentiful!! This cabin is very spacious but cozy. Enjoyed a bbq and dinner outside on the patio. Close to many activities. We enjoyed the Durango to Silverton train ride. Went shopping in Durango. Went off reading on the east bolam pass. Will definitely be going back“

„Very nice property. It was surprising how quiet the interior was with it being right on a main road. The only dips were the water dispenser and the ice maker in the freezer not working and the upstairs could use a better air conditioner. The bathroom window upstairs wouldn't stay open so we could let the cooler evening air blow through. Other than that, very nice and comfortable to be at and base out of for a few days.“

„We.enjoyed our week in "Fort Dolores" so much. Hubby hunted in the nearby forest while i took walks around town, read, and knitted. We had some great meals.out in the evenings at local restaurants. As for the property, it is spacious, comfy, fully equipped, quiet, and charming. Steve and Robby are great hosts. They even accommodated our reservation change atthe last minute. Absolutely recommend this VRBO.“

„My family loved staying in this house. The walls are paneled with wood and there's a cozy fireplace. It is just minutes from Hovenweep National Monument and Sutcliffe Vineyards. I highly recommend a trip to the winery. It sits at the base of Battlerock and is surrounded by gorgeous canyon views, just like the house! Our stay included a free bottle of wine and lots of options for coffee (and it's good coffee, not just standard hotel coffee). The house was very clean which we greatly appreciated. ...

„We absolutely loved staying at this wonderful house on our road trip! The location was secluded but awesome. The stars at night and the sunsets were gorgeous. „My family and I felt so comfortable in this cute house. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet home away from home. The house was spotless, which I believe reflects the desire to please guests. They provided a coffee bar, candy treats, dog necessities, a kitchen stocked with all the tools to make yummy home cooked meals. „We were absolutely overjoyed to discover this beautiful gem for our stay in the Mancos area. The location is idyllic - open plain surrounded by beautiful sunrises and dramatic, photo worthy sunsets. The home is beautifully renovated, the beds and pillows are comfortable, everything is clean and in working order (and the wifi works!). The best Air B&B we have ever stayed in. Definitely returning to this charming and affordable gem.“

"Probably the best accommodation during our 2.5 weeks travel through the US. Very nice landladies, very nice room (great mix of old and new elements like USB ports), wonderful breakfast (finally no plastic!) with great food in very nice setting. Can definitely recommend! "

"This is a wonderful beautifully build place in the nowhere. Stylistically you get into an old western hotel, with a lot of taste much attention to detail, beautiful gardens, balconies and terasses. We sat outside for breakfast and enjoyed good wine on the balcony at night. The staff is hard to reach but everything is well organised, we found a message with a key code whwen we arrived. The next restaurant is 15min, and 30min to Durango. "
