„The Golden Rock is a beautiful, low intensity hotel complex, with exceptional gardens. It offers something quite different than other hotels in Nevis. The staff were exceptionally helpful and caring. They also helped to make arrival easy by organizing a seamless transfer from the airport to the water taxi and then to the hotel. Highly recommend“

„The room was huge with a kitchen and a view of the Caribbean from on top of Mt. Nevis. A very relaxing place. The staff was very helpful arranging for a rental car when Thrifty always seemed to be closed, and when we tried to check in with American Airlines and couldn't get through. Rooms are air conditioned which is probably really important later in the year, altho we were visiting in Jan. Many great restaurants and beaches are five minutes away by car. „Nisbet is on a former sugar plantation and buttresses the Atlantic. The grounds and rooms are well-maintained. It’s very laid back, an older crowd, except for the lively Thursday night barbecue on the beach. Outsiders come to Nisbet and live music is offered. Dinner food is fair, although quite good at the barbecue. Breakfast and lunch are pretty good, but with limited menus. Overall, a very relaxing vacation, but it is best to go off grounds for other experiences and restaurants.“

„I cannot imagine a more serene, authentic, inviting and hospitable hotel and staff that mirrored the same. Everyone from the owner, to the front desk, the restaurant staff, housekeeping and gardening - were remarkably wonderful. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful with several appealing options! „Das Ambiente dieser ehemaligen Zuckerrohrplantage war umwerfend! Das Personal sehr höflich und zuvorkommend und die Chefin sehr engagiert und aufmerksam. Das Barbecue am Strand war sehr schön, nur die Suppe, die die Chefin sehr großzügig eingefüllt hatte, schmeckt zwar gut, soll wohl aber eher den Magen füllen. Diese würde ich nicht essen. Sonst war es wirklich alles in allem ein super Hotel, wir würden sofort wiederkommen!“
