„Margaretsville is a very small, but very scenic town. Dining options are limited to a few restaraunts a short drive away from town. The accommodation is one small room adequate for single or couple only, beautifully kept, with an outside hottube and beautiful view right on the ocean. Hosts (Liz and Ray) could not be nicer or more helpful. Middleton is a good size town with all conveniences a short drive away.“

„I was there to ride my motorcycle and see Nova Scotia. This location was perfect for getting around, not far from Rt 1, the highway and Trunk 8. So it was close to riding the coastline, cutting across the island or the highway to every where else. Returning back to a quiet place to enjoy the thoughts and views of the day’s ride was made easy with this private setting.“

„My friends and I stayed here over the long weekend for Canada Day. Upon arrival, the owner was very friendly and gave us a good run down on the property. Lots of games, beautiful property with no one really around us. We all had tons of fun around the fire table and the bar on the deck, as well as playing pool and table tennis in the basement when the weather wasn’t so good. Awesome place, well taken care of“

The hosts, Shirley/Jack/Cooper are amazing (Don't tell Jack, but Cooper was our favorite) they made sure we had every thing needed to be comfortable and were extremely welcoming. The views from the bedroom are breath taking, especially on a stormy Fall evening. The community of Margaretsville is incredibly picturesque with no shortage of views and history. I highly recommend them for a quiet getaway.“

We chose this spot as it was close to family in the area and we wanted to be able to base ourselves close to them while also being within an hour or so of a lot of Halifax, Peggy's Cove, etc. The cottage was a great size, with lots of space for our family to relax and spread out. The kitchen was very well-appointed. The outdoor space was just wonderful - we enjoyed a campfire almost every night, and during the day the kids spent hours in the paddleboat ...

„Was a wonderful stay and we ended up with more family arriving with kids so we were able to sleep lots!! Had everything you need!! Only feedback would be-the gas was cut while we were there which resulted in lots of grass being tracked inside and we spent a lot of time cleaning grass out of the cottage-which is not how you want to spend your vacation/time.“
