„First the positives; the property is on Lake Wilson with two docks (but no boat ramp). There was plenty of room for our group which consisted of six men all over 60. The property has a beautiful view and we enjoyed being close to Muscle Shoals. We were able to tie our boat to the dock and fished from the dock and on the boat. The kitchen is large and user friendly. Negatives; the house needs a thorough cleaning inside and out. There is a slight musty odor when you walk in. We found mold/mildew ...

„The house was just as pictured. It was very comfortable and the view was amazing! Even though there were houses very close on both sides we never heard or saw anyone. We were able to relax. Drove through beautiful Joe Wheeler Park and saw lots of deer. We also enjoyed visiting Athens and eating there.“

„Quiet and peaceful and a nice central location for us. We were there for 11 days for a softball tournament and just about anywhere we needed to go was no more than 10-15 minutes away. It’s right on the river with a balcony over the water. We really enjoyed our stay. The owner was very helpful and informative when I had questions about where to find things around town. Will definitely stay again if we are back down that way.“

Pool was cool during to time of year- screens on windows would have been nice to hear the lake sounds and fresh air..- dirty windows difficult to see from some. House could use some TLC. Controls for separate floors was nice- tricky to control but fortunate had a tech savvy cousin! Stove had 2 burners not working- couldn’t get one oven to work. Ample eating supplies. I purchased a good bar of soap from drugstore, but didn’t want the expense of buying a hair dryer. The only way to contact desk is to call the number on a sign at the desk so be sure to note it.
