„Great place to stay to visit Harmandir Sahib Golden Temple. It's right in the center of the action of Heritage Street right near the Maharaja Ranjit Singh statue and Jallianwalla Bagh Park. The soundproofing is excellent to get a good night's sleep, because Heritage St is extremely busy all day and almost all night. „Das Hotel liegt sehr nahe am Stadtzentrum, ist unweit eines großartigen Restaurants (Bade Bhai Ka Brothers Dhabaund) gelegen. Der Golden Tempel is fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Hotel ist gepflegt und sieht nicht sehr abgewohnt aus. Das Bad ist großzügig und sauber. Auch das Bett war kompfortabel. Mir hat es sehr gut gefallen, dass im Zimmer alle Annehmlichkeiten vorzufinden waren die für mich wichtig waren z.B. Bügeleisen, Fön, Wasserkocher, Fernseher und es gab freies W-LAN. „Comfortable air conditioned clean. Very courteous and helpful staff. Standard western amenities. Highly recommend it. The only caveat is location. While it is only 3 minutes away from Darbar Sahib (with entry right next to Akal Takht Sahib!), it is very difficult to get your car there, because the streets are too congested. They do have parking but it took extra long to get in and out. So park outside and take an auto to the place. “

„Golden lagoon is very close to the Golden Temple (Darbar Sahib). Staff is friendly and professional. My flight was very late and they were able to accommodate me by giving me a room for a shorter period after normal check out for a reasonable price. Rooms are on the slightly smaller size but sufficient and clean. Kettle, mini fridge, TV, hot water etc all provided. Rooms were clean. „This was a very nice hotel that's well staffed and clean. The room overlooks the Jallianwala Bagh park so very close to all the major landmarks. I would stay here again if I was to return to Amritsar.“

„Difficult to communicate with staff when only one member could speak english so had to wait until she was on duty to sort things out. Booking included a full continental breakfast this came down to two slices of toast and a cup of tea. Had a tv in room which did not work until late on day 2 of a 3 day stay.
