„We were excited to ice fish the famed Chaumont Bay for trophy walleye. Unfortunately the fishing didn't go as planned. The house was great, very clean and comfortable for our group. There was a minor issue with the boiler that the manager solved very quickly. I would definitely stay here again if the fishing was better. If you are headed there to ice fish, you should be aware that access to the water from the cottage is via a set of narrow stairs, and getting a shanty to the back yard is ...

„We enjoyed stay at ADK cottage with our family. Everything what we needed. Nice kitchen, lots of space. Very responsive host. We were during the snowstorm, the tractor came multiple times a day to clean the road. This quiet place and far from everything. But we enjoyed it and made trips to Lake Placid to dine out.“

„Stayed at the cottage over Valentine’s weekend - we are so happy to have found this place!2 adults, 1 tween and a puppers fit perfectly. Plenty of room for us, luggage, ski equiptment etc.Top floor is one bedroom (king). Bed 10/10.They do have a cot and the downstairs couch is a pull-out. You could easily fit an air mattress on the floor in bedroom too. Full bath upstairs with 10/10 shower.Kitchen counter is small and has basic utensils (think efficiency apartment style) but worked just fine ...

„The house was perfect. We brought our 14 year old daughter and her friend and our older children came and went with their significant others. The house had anything you could need for a carefree vacation! We would definitely recommend! Beautiful lake view. Sat on the large deck and had a glass of wine. Big yard. We set up a volleyball net for the kids. Firepit by the lake for a fire at night. Very large. Easily accommodateed 8 people. Thank you for sharing your home with us!! “

The house was stocked with everything we would need and the hosts were very attentive. Helpful Info was provided on activities and shopping in the area.
