„Great location. Very old camp that was pretty clean despite the age...except for the carpeting. Walkway into the camp just an uphill, rocky path. Quite hazardous, especially if wet. Also challenging to get luggage up, especially for older adults or anyone with mobility issues Needs improvement“

„We loved this cottage! It was so quaint and charming and perfect for our family. The fans and the screens in the windows were lifesavers as we hit some hot weather while staying here. We loved the location, as well as the view over the water. Absolutely wonderful and we would stay here again!“

„It was nice to have a place to gather instead of spending the money for a hotel, but it wasn't as comfortable. I understand that you don't want to ruin furniture when you are renting out to people, because you just never know, but there really wasn't any comfortable seating in the den and everything is so low. „Place was great. Lots of privacy! It was so quiet especially at night as we had cocktails on the deck. Made our 38th anniversary special. Did some fun stuff.Lands End store at end of Bailey Island and beach. Cooks lobster House. Cabot Antique mall and flea market in Brunswick. Had the best blueberry pancakes we ever had at the Kopper Kettle. Popham Beach topped everything off! talked with David at the end of the trip and hope to rent from him again! “

„We enjoyed our stay here very much. Loved how we could easily walk to Boothbay. Access to the kayaks was a huge plus too. If there was one bit of advice I could offer, it would be to reduce the amount of furniture in the cabin. I believe there were 15 chairs within.“

„Great location. Spectacular views. House is comfortable & well-appointed, though living room furniture is a little worn. Minor issues with the keypad. Took more tries than necessary to get it to work each time. Instructions for TV remotes and fireplace would have been helpful. Again, minor issues. Overall a great cabin. “

„It is a cute cabin but needs some serious maintenance. The entry slope would be improved by stepping stones along the very appropriate gravel path. It is a steep path and the stones can be slippery and awkward. The inside front door would benefit from a "wipe-your-feet" mat. The microwave, dishwasher and stove are nicely upgraded although we only used the microwave as we were just 2 and mostly ate out. There are 2 good heaters, one up and one down but they do not have fans so they do not heat ...

„Great location. Clean. Property was as advertised. However, would not return unless owner replaced master bedroom mattress. The mattress is completely broken down and awoke every morning with a terrible stiff back.Also, there seems to be a black beatle infestation as I killed over a dozen of the little critters in a week. Mostly found in the bathroom and living room area.“
