„And we're looking forward to our eighth. Everything about this log cabin on the river is right. Peter is a gracious host. The guy you'd want for a neighbor back home. The property is immaculate. The view from porch and patio is blissful. The neighborhood is quiet, but groceries, dining and sightseeing are nearby. Mostly, though, we just love to sit with the river in view, read and talk.“

„We enjoyed our stay here very much. Loved how we could easily walk to Boothbay. Access to the kayaks was a huge plus too. If there was one bit of advice I could offer, it would be to reduce the amount of furniture in the cabin. I believe there were 15 chairs within.“

„This place is fantastic! So close to Boothbay Harbor, East Boothbay and Southport, but secluded and quiet. Perfect for a relaxing get away. Would definitely stay here again. Leslie, our host, was super communicative and made check in a breeze! Highly recommend! “

„Great location. Very old camp that was pretty clean despite the age...except for the carpeting. Walkway into the camp just an uphill, rocky path. Quite hazardous, especially if wet. Also challenging to get luggage up, especially for older adults or anyone with mobility issues Needs improvement“

„We had a lovely stay. Very comfortable king size bed with plenty of good pillows. Shower had wonderful pressure! Kitchen well equipped. Quiet and view over lake serene. Enjoyed the loon and bald eagle. Best for 2 people bunk room very small. Would recommend and come back ourselves, but longer stay. serene.“

„It is a cute cabin but needs some serious maintenance. The entry slope would be improved by stepping stones along the very appropriate gravel path. It is a steep path and the stones can be slippery and awkward. The inside front door would benefit from a "wipe-your-feet" mat. The microwave, dishwasher and stove are nicely upgraded although we only used the microwave as we were just 2 and mostly ate out. There are 2 good heaters, one up and one down but they do not have fans so they do not heat ...

„My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed, the beauty and functionality of Lola’s Lodge, a picture perfect log cabin. It’s perfectly located nestled in the pine trees of a 100 year old summer community, but a close walking distance to the quaint harbor-best of both worlds! Paul was a very responsive host and made the booking easy. I can only recommend as wonderful summer vacation home.“
