„Spent 2 nights at Knox Hotel. There was a booking mixup that owner tried to fix a month ago, but we missed the communication. They worked out a fix and gave us a price adjustment due to different rooms..very willing to work with us. Hotel is not mobility friendly—1-2 steep stairs, but rooms are charmingly restored with historic furnishings. Great Cafe Grace just across street, and wonderful shops/wine bars/bistro/pizza too. „First, let me say this is not a cabin. The listing was a bit misleading if you are expecting a cabin, this is a townhome. That being said, it was lovely! Overall clean and well kept. The only thing we didn't use was the whirlpool tub as it didn't look clean. If you plan to do any cooking, the supplies are pretty basic (no baking sheets) but for stovetop cooking we were all set. None of that is said to dissuade people just to be informative. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!“

„The Tonti house was a wonderful getaway for my husband, dog and I. The location is convenient to the parks, Lasalle has some fantastic restaurants, the neighborhood was friendly and quiet and the home itself was clean and welcoming. „We could not have chosen a better location for our visit to Starved Rock State Park! Our loft apartment was above a commercial business front that is currently empty. The rest of the street was filled with restaurants, breweries, shops and a winery. The block was blocked off for outdoor seating for all of the restaurants and bars.
