If you are looking for a hotel near Navy Pier this is a great choice. If you are interested in Chicago's other attractions you will be spending a lot of time walking or getting a ride. My primary issue is the price of the room for the quality. There were cracks in the walls, sink, and tile. There is no refrigerator which is something I've come to expect as standard, especially at this price point. That said, every employee was wonderful and went out of their way to help us.

Most of the things are really good except for a time where we asked the housekeeping to make the pull out bed 4 different times and waited for hours before the bed was finally made. We went to talk to the front desk and they told us that someone marked it as completed at a time but that person never came nor did anything. So, it was very concerning. I wish the shampoo and conditioner things are in small plastic bottles, the idea seems a bit less eco-friendly. The phone in the room did not work for the first few days. So, it was difficult to call or receive call. Staff was nice. Some of them do look not very happy to be at work though. We loved the location and the pool. The view was amazing. Bed was pretty rough on our backs but that was not the deal breaker.

It was a lovely location for a single female, easy to walk great neighborhood and accessible.

not sure if the room was recently rennovatd, but i absolutely loved it
